Hello,

I have been playing on a sports book/casino site I have been playing allot of sportbetting and casino slots, I won some big amounts so I want to wager some higher bets until I saw this rule strange rule in there general T&C:

"The maximum amount of net winnings each bet is € 10,000. The maximum daily amount of net winnings is fixed at € 10,000 irrespective of the number of bets placed. The maximum weekly amount of net winning is fixed at € 10,000."

So practically I can't win more than 10.000 euro in 1 week. Is this even legal, if I win a progressive jackpot or a few 1000 times my bet on a casino slot they just void the amount over the 10k? The license provider is the LGA do they allow these kinds of rules??

I hope you can help me solve this question I really doubt if should even play here anymore this rule is really rough.

Regards.

Avelon.

It's a netent casino I don't know what sportsbet software it is. They do have a LGA license.

Well, go and check out Netent/Betsoft 'Casino Extra' where you cannot w/d more than 1k a day, 5k a week or 10k a month...if you make the 60x WR....:(

Is it the sportsbook that has the max payout?
Most bookies in the UK have a max payout on winnings but it's usually £250,000+ and they let you know that if you place a bet which might return more than that.

Since it is so bad I would like to warn the forum, the site is Betrebels and they have this rule in there general T&C
"
8.16

Unless otherwise indicated at the time of placing the bet, the maximum amount of net winnings (inclusive of any bonus) for each bet is € 10,000 (or the equivalent in other currencies). The maximum daily amount of net winnings (inclusive of any bonus) per client (or non-authorised betting syndicate) is fixed at € 10,000 (or equivalent in other currencies) irrespective of the number of bets placed. The maximum weekly amount of net winnings (inclusive of any bonus) per client (or non-authorised betting syndicate) is fixed at € 10,000 (or equivalent in other currencies) irrespective of the number of bets placed. The Company reserves the right to deduct the amount in excess of the limits set from the account of the client or group of accounts controlled by the client or non-authorised betting syndicate. The week runs from 00:00:00 hours CET on Monday to 23:59:59 hrs. CET on Sunday."

This is even on a slot when you win without any bonus money. I think it is absurd they have a rule like this hidden over there does the LGA agree with kind of behavior?

Just saw this at the bottom of their homepage:

"Important Warning: Our Casino, Live Casino, Games and Poker products are not licensed and regulated by the Lotteries and Gaming Authority of Malta."

Is this the norm?

Terms mention this:-

Poker games are operated by EnetPoker, a company registered and licensed in Curacao. Virtual casino games are operated via Betsoft Casino where is regulated by the Alderney Gambling Control Commission, which live casino games are operated by XProgaming of Blue Ash Holdings LTD.

Jackpot scroller at the top is advertising Caribbean Stud as €10,111 so don't play that

Sounds like a place to stay away from tbh. Appears to be a total mishmash of things all rolled into one. £10k limit on any winnings? What happens then if you hit a progressive? Do they just give you £10k and keep the rest themselves? I'd stay well away tbh with terms like that.

That is totally ludicrous and unacceptable from a Sports Betting site - unless they have some system which prevents you placing bets big enough to take your total winnings over their ceiling.
What if you did a high-risk accumulator bet which came off - you could win a LOT more than €10K!

Sounds like a good place... to avoid!

Is it even legal to have a rule like this, will the LGA and Alderny gaming commission approve this a rule? Let say you hit 3000 times your bet with a 5 euro bet, on a slot without any bonus they can just void your 5K under this rule, this has to be unacceptable for the licenses provider it is totally uncontrollable what these slots will do. Your winnings will be voided on something you don't have any control over it whatsoever.
