Immortal Romance Achievements wiped out

Folks, I have lost all my free spin choices at Next, I'm stuck with Amber for the time being.
Just got a reply back that it is because of them getting new UK licence, Microgaming reset all stats and there is nothing that can be done about it.
I am yet to check the rest of my casinos that have new licences, but I suppose it will be the same.

Yeah, this appears to be a decision Microgaming has taken. I am entirely sure why, but I have a feeling its to do with compliance more than anything else.

Happened for me at Guts and Vera&John as well.

Maybe they could explain what part of "compliance" requires them to reset stats in this manner

Maybe the UK players affected should all bombard the official UKGC sanctioned mediation service with complaints so that someone is forced out of their little hole at MGHS HQ and forced to make a public statement about this.

Real strange this is, it was originally blamed on the migration of accounts so to me it shouldn't be happening mid November??

Happened to me on Next casino but was about a fortnight ago, contacted chat and sent email as requested but they basically were not interested.

Lost choices on Guts too, again few weeks back but no surprise they 'compensated' me for the loss.

Lost choices on Betway too - still being ignored to this day so closed accounts there last night (spin also)

Talking of Betway, quick note, there is no way their RTP is same as other MG casinos either, it sticks out like a 'sore thumb' and I so wish I could get some proof / backing on this, initially put it down to my 'unlucky casino' but 2 years on and 10 years experience tells me otherwise!!

Have you checked TS II, TFROL, Playboy etc, the lots prob's gone all bet sizes in your other 'faves' probably reset too. Terrible situation for us players, I know there has been a tiring thread about this previously but for some not so lucky players, building up these achievements and choice of features has cost hundreds - not good

thrills, guts, casinoluck , leo vegas . all achievements lost there the ones from the top of my head on all the games that ive saved playboy , finer reels all of them , not happy but hay there you go

That'll be the second time it's happened this year for leo vegas and casinoluck then

Perhaps they will take more notice if it causes players to leave, or at least deposit less as they feel "what's the point" when it comes to spending to build up these achievements when it seems that resets are to be a regular occurrence, not just an exceptional "one off".

It's a bit extreme to leave a casino over such a small thing.
But, voting with your money is the right idea.

thing is on how much money its cost to get these up . some casinos i've done spins at no less than £3 never below other i've changed the stakes , so im in for a few quid, this reset is a major set back for us players , but i will say there has been a couple of casinos that have given me a 100 quid for the hassle , even spinning at 30p i would have to be really lucky to get all that i've lost in achievements , were talking months & months of play ,hence to why i'm pretty pi$$ed off with it (

i don't blame the casinos some ive spoken too have just tried to brush it under the carpet others has said nope your correct in complaining there seems to be a big drift between casinos about this .

micro gaming should be held for this , also i would like to know why its been reset something rather fishy going on here , the tin hat could well becoming my way

The problem is that casinos will not see it's a problem unless it hits them in the pocket. The fact that it now KEEPS ON HAPPENING is what is likely to make this "small thing" become a "big thing" for some players, big enough to make them look elsewhere.

There is still a strong belief, encouraged by the marketing of these games, that by building the achievements, you make the game much better. This means that when all the hard work is wiped on a whim, players feel as though they have had something of value arbitrarily confiscated by the casino. It would be similar to having built up loads of loyalty points, only to find that the whole lot had been arbitrarily confiscated without compensation the next time you log in.

I didn't play at 32Red for over a year and when I got back all my achievements were wiped.
Are they saved on the casinos side or the players?

Betat achievements seem to stayed intact on these games. I'm not sure why or am I missing something obvious. Although, on their unique achievements on getting 5OAK I got the 5 longships on TSII the other day which I previously didn't have but it didn't update as achieved. Not sure whether that side of things is still working.

I believe I've only heard people from the uk that have lost their achievements. I also remember than Ben explained exactly why they had to be removed, something about a new casino-ID or whatever.
I believe it will happen with all of them, even Betat, but maybe not all at once.

I don't play MG games on any multi platforms so I won't lose anything.
I don't think it had bothered me anyway. I remember on IR I got those four wilds and a huge payout almost immediately when it came out. It is actually possible to win when you're trying to get new achievments too

Guts was kind enough to remove my achievements,or as they phrased it...a reset!
So the 243 games I'll only play at mg casinos...maybe that was the plan.

I'm a UK player, so the Betat changes may still be in the pipeline. If they do wipe the stats, I hope they will honour what existing cash achievements people have made. For example, they'll only convert achievement prizes at a minimum of £5, I currently have £3 non cashable as a result of this rule, I hope it doesn't get wiped.

Still, they could simply migrate the achievements as they have the players in some cases.

There has been no explanation for why there is a need for a new casino ID just because the SAME casino now has to obey a different set of rules. Why not "just obey the rules"?

Maybe they could have, but maybe not. We don't know and I'm sure they won't tell us their reasons, so why speculate?

Maybe they didn't know it would matter to so many players so they just made it easy.
Since the rtp is the same it shouldn't matter. What people are angry at is that they lost their choices.

Who says the TRTP% IS the same. A little bit shaved off the TRTP% would help cover the tax

IF MG slots are as completely random as we're lead to believe, then there's no such thing as an 'earlier history'. Any 'future' spins are supposedly independent of any previous spins

Maybe you should read my post again. I said feel and love in it, and nothing else.

Whatever changes that are made they are going to be made no matter if I'm for or against them.
I choose to see most changes in an optimistic way since that always makes it easier.

So, what's wrong with telling players in advance to ease the blow.

What has made a bad thing for some even worse is that it was sprung on them overnight. These players have spent hundreds on a fool's errand based on the deceptive marketing of these games, and now that the quest for "achievements" have been exposed as a sham they are angry. The fact that it makes no difference to RTP doesn't help, they still spent hundreds thinking they were building something permanent for their copy of the game, which was the unlocking of all the choices.

MGS chose to develop and release this type of game, so there is no excuse for not developing safeguards into the system such that achievements could be retrieved if ever there was a technical problem that caused them to get wiped.

There will be a few players who DO believe that making achievements gives them a better RTP.

What some may have missed is that in a small number of casinos, you can win bonuses by completing your achievements. This would have been designed as a one-off per player, but this constant resetting could be costly for these casinos, yet beneficial for the players as they get a repeat of what is supposed to be a welcome offer.

There could well be a class of players who are not complaining, but hoping this becomes a regular "technical fault" with Quickfire, so that they can get the achievement rewards all over again.

I would think that the achievements gained, and paid out on, would be saved on the casino's server rather than on the provider's servers. So i doubt there's much chance of a second bonus payment being triggered, should the achievements be cleared in the game it's self
