Vera John have confirmed UK players will continue as normal at their site with slightly amended T&C's.

Hi dunover,

Vera&John, in line with updated regulation, has applied for a UK gambling license which is planned to take effect on November 1st.

What should you expect?

We’re planning to make this transition as smooth as possible. You’ll notice a new V&J URL, a new set of T&Cs to read (as you always do), and possible changes to the games available.

These changes are planned for the evening of October 31st where you’ll notice a small downtime period. We’ll keep you in the loop as these changes progress, and we are here to answer any questions you may have.

We look forward to seeing you shortly!

Vera&John

Maxino however have binned the UK players off:

Hi dunover,

Unfortunately at 00:00:01 on 31.10.2014 all UK players on Maxino will have their accounts frozen. This will mean you will no longer be able to play on Maxino but if you have any cash in your account you will be able to withdraw the funds.

From now until 31.10.2014 you will still be able to play all our thrilling Casino games found over at Maxino. We apologise for any inconvenience this causes.

Thank you,

Team Maxino

Just letting you people know, if you didn't already.

Maxino however have binned the UK players off:

Yeah - this was expected as Maxino for a long time only have been offering their welcome bonus to Norway, Finland and Sweden.

Like Nordicbet, Maxino is only targeting Scandinavia these days...unfortunately..

But other Betsson brands like Betsafe and Mr Smith should continue to operate in the UK.

maria has just stopped using skrill & neteller for deposits aswell ((((

I'd be surprised if Maria left the UK as they are sponsoring TV programmes at the moment and heavily advertising for UK players. Skrill and Neteller are UK/IOM companies but they are international so I'm not sure that is connected.

Heard nothing from Unibet, they are a far bigger operation and I doubt they'd leave.

How about the rep tell us what the BIG problem is with Neteller and Skrill:confused:

I have asked my VIP manager at Neteller, but haven't really managed to get anywhere.

It's odd that there is this "we don't care" attitude from Neteller given that if casinos drive players away from Neteller, Neteller will lose revenue, and possibly even customers. Seems more like the managers at Neteller know full well what is going on, but they are determined to keep the information away from their customers. Somehow, the casinos seem to be supporting Neteller by agreeing to keep this secret.

I doubt there's any conspiracy of silence here Vinyl.

I'd suggest that the services will be resumed upon clarification of UK licensing. They haven't messed with sites that have already ascertained their UK applications.

The "conspiracy of silence" goes back many years, and has nothing to do with the UK rules.

I have seen "anti Neteller clauses" in casinos for years, but until recently this has not been to the extent of casinos dropping the methods altogether. Each time it is billed as a "temporary measure", as it was at Ladbrokes many years ago when they were still MGS, but "temporary" never ended there, or at any other casino with a similar set of "temporary" clauses.

Hello PaaskeDKnowUK,

We are working towards adding NetEntertainment slots to our UK facing site in the near future. I'm also pleased to advise that Free Spins are now available in the shop for purchase. Enjoy!

Best regards
Rupert

Hi thanks yes I have heard that Net Ent is under discussions?? And micogaming and several other software providers is on way before end of month. I can not disclosure any here of course.

But why a Great Casino like yours. Why was Net Entertainment not sorted much earlier? All other casino has got Net Entertainment slots up running. I am bit curious to this. Is it to do with new owners? AS I do not see why you would get rid of Net Ent to save money as that should be least of your problems.

and what is now this?????????

Also you mentioned free spins are up again. Yes 2 slots LOL one is 135 coins and other is 315 coins.

What is reason that 135 coins for 10 spins on Boomanji. But then 315 coins for 10 spins on Rook's Revenge?

Just did the 10 spins in Boomanji won massive £0.50? But in bonus it states €1 bonus? I already had 8 pence in "cash" so my balance is €0.58.

(Added) sorry noticed wager requirements at least is correct 40x = €20 requirement. So seems did it correct. But shocked that it only paid 0.50 for 135 coins.

70 coins on Starburst normally pays lot more despite only 10 spins on 10 lines.....

Hello PaaskeDKnowUK,

I can assure you that meeting our player’s expectations is at the top of our priority list. We have been, and will continue to work towards bringing Net Entertainment to our UK offering. I thank you for your patience while we work towards this goal.

With regards to the depositing message, due to the new regulatory requirements, players must pass an age-verification check. Please contact our support department directly and they will walk you through this verification step.

Free Spins are priced differently for a variety of factors but in this case it is based on the value of the free spins themselves. Rook’s Revenge holds a higher free spins value compared to Boomanji and is therefore set at a higher cost. If these free spins are not suited to your taste, I can suggest purchasing one of the many spin credit items available. Spin Credits allow you to set your own bet level and can be used on any game you wish. These range of a value between €2 and €10 and cost between 130 and 600 coins.

I'm fairly sure that the spins on Rook's Revenge is of 0.2(KR)/0.02(€) coin value, instead of the usual 0.1/0.01.
May have been changed, but it was this at least when I purchased them last month.

This could take some getting used to, although it's a good thing. Casinos don't usually verify customers until they withdraw because they claim it would cost too much and clog up the systems if players had to be verified up front. Clearly the UKGC didn't buy that excuse, and casinos have to run verification checks up front. Fortunately, this is pretty easy in the UK as we use electronic databases, not identity cards, so this part of the verification is usually done up front without the player noticing. This really only leaves verification of the deposit and withdrawal methods.

I've been playing at Vera John for the last couple of months and really like the site, no problems with depositing or bonus and withdrawals have been extremely quick on each occasion I've had my funds available within a few hours including almost instant on one occasion which very impessive and easily exceeded my expectations and was more than happy to carry stay put playing

I wasn't asked to provide any documents upon my first withdraw request, I've played a fair bit of poker online over the last 10 years but am a relative newbie to playing slots so wasn't overly concerned as I've experienced poker sites who have and poker sites who havn't required this.

However I wasnt keeping up with the latest gambling and didn't even become aware of the change in the regulations for UK players until I logged into verajohn to play after the update and before I could playwas prompted with the same msg PaaskeDKnowUK got to provide documents, no problem and once again this was resolved with my account unlocked super quick after emailing support, brilliant again!

After this I was left disapointed to discover no Immortal Romance a couple of days after being lucky enough to hit the bonus round enough times to release all characters in the feature, I'd spent quite some time getingt to that point of the game over previous weeks, then I thought I'd go play Starburst and thats not there either, the 2 games I was playing most had gone so I hope they reappear soon.

It was also unfortunate to discover charges on withdrawing under £50 but not a big deal fair enough I guess.

Coin idea is good (different) but I'd like to see an option to look at a history breakdown of how many coins I was awarded? what time? and what for? The same goes for the percentage increase on progression though the levels, for example I'm currently 20% through level 7 so what have I done to get than 20% and what needs doing to get to 100% quicker? I slightly confused by it.

I'd still recommend anyone to play at verajohn I'm just annoyed at these new regulations

I am very surprised and annoyed with V&J to be honest - and confused too.
When I logged in to play on November 1st, all the MG & NetEnt games were gone - which doesn't leave a lot

I can't understand WHY they have blocked these game for UK players when all the other similar casinos I've tried to date DO still have the full range of these games available for me to play.

I'm sure they will be putting them back - I just hope it's pretty soon, or I will take my business elsewhere.
Shame because they have been a GREAT casino up til now.
