Hi Guys,

Following feedback from our players regarding the Dish of the Day bonuses and the fact that sometimes the claim system doesn't recognise the deposit, I'm pleased to announce that we're upgrading the system and we're hoping it makes waiting for a bonus a thing of the past. The new system should ensure your Dish of the Day bonus is served instantly. ;)

There is a slight change to the process of claiming a bonus though, so it may take some getting used to for those of you who play regularly. Basically you will be required to 'opt-in' to a bonus before making your deposit. This will then let the banking pages know you are expecting a deposit and credit it at the time of deposit.

So here's how it works...

- Log in, you will see a popup to say "Today's Bonus is x"
- If you like the look of the bonus that day, click 'YES' to opt in. As soon as you deposit, you will be instantly credited with the bonus.
- If you don't want it, click 'NO' and you won't be asked again that day.
- Still deciding or would like the bonus on a later deposit? Click 'I'm not sure, ask me later'

Here's how it looks...

We hope the new system makes it easier, it's phase one and we have some other ideas on how to streamline the process, but we'd love to hear any feedback you have. Either reply here or mail promotions[at]32red.com if you prefer to remain anonymous. :)

Thanks
Mark

PS: The system is being rolled out to different groups at a time, so please don't be alarmed if you don't see it when others do. :)

That looks great and a change I have been looking forward to

I never have to ask support to give it to me again. That's the best. Yippieh :p

I don't believe it has been rolled out for Australians yet because I can't see it.
But, does it still allow for smaller deposits while still getting a bonus?
E.g. Dish of the Day is $50 bonus for a $100 deposit, can I still deposit $50 for a $25 bonus on these instances?

I notice they seem to already have this system at GL and Nedplay, and it works every time for me. Sometimes there is a message which informs you it'll be visible as soon as you open a game, but I find if I hover over the balance in the bottom left it appears there instantly.

Hi Petro,

Thanks for your question.

I can confirm that smaller deposits will still be credited with the relevant bonus depending on the percentage, we need to think about how we display that in the relatively small space we have. I appreciate you bringing it up.

Yes, for example the GL one, if you play the roulette game after choosing your intended deposit amount say £50 and the wheel offers 25% (£12.50) bonus then if you subsequently deposit less it adds a pro-rata bonus so a tenner say if you actually deposited £40 instead.
It only needs a little line at the bottom of the yellow 'Yes Please' button in small type *bonus pro-rata for lower deposits.

I can confirm this is how it will also work on 32Red.

Great news

This is great news all round , The old way never worked that well for me on download and always had problems claiming it .

Looking forward to trying it out soon

Odd though IMO that the issue isn't present on the sister sites but is on the main headline site 32Red?

I clicked the link to read the T&C's for the bonus and the page said that I didn't have Flash Player plugin installed.
I do have it installed but either way I couldn't see a reason for it wanting me to have that. Is anyone seing anything special when clicking that link?

I had the choice to go to the website so I did. I am a little confused, which is normal for me of course, so if anyone could....help? ;)

Thanks Tirilej,

This may be because the download casino runs in IE, you may have flash installed for Firefox or Chrome but as you don't have the plugin for IE it may be flagging an issue.

Let me get this checked when back in the office tomorrow. Thanks for your help.

I actually downloaded it again from IE just to be sure, even restarted the computer, but got the same message.
I know the t&c's but thought it could be good to see if you're changing anything there too :D

Edit: So then it was time to feel even more silly than usual since the message now is gone. I've been downloading that Flashplayer everywhere soo many times but some parts or updates must have been skipped in IE:oops:
Rarily use IE so not so strange maybe.

Hi I checked this but the new active account does not show offer of day. Only gives me "on the move for mobile and no offer" I then tried login to my "old" 32red account and there is the offer showing fine?? Also it was supposed to be inactive now so bit confused :)

Could you PM both account numbers please and I'll take a look?

Hi Dunover.

Can you confirm which issue you are referring to? Across all sites we allow lower deposits to claim the relevant bonuses.

Thanks
Mark

No, sorry I was referring to the initial problem at 32red which you've corrected. I just found it strange it didn't seem to happen at the sister sites.:)

I noticed this appear a couple of days ago at 32Red, but the following day the old system was back.

The new system didn't work, so I just presumed this had already been discovered and it had been temporarily pulled.

I opted in, and then deposited, but there was no bonus credited.

I then decided to try again a while later as I thought it might be the delay problem again, but this time with the opt in not having registered on the banking server. This also failed, so I decided to give it one more chance the next day, but by then it had been pulled and the old system was back.

This is a long standing issue with the download, and it causes many problems. Other download software, where necessary, will detect and use the selected "preferred browser" found locally, which now is often NOT IE. Where a user chooses to ditch IE in favour of, say, Chrome or Firefox, they are not going to be making optional updates to IE, they will just get the critical patches that come via Windows Update. The Flash player is not only an optional update, it's a third party plugin that the user has to actively search for and install themselves. Naturally, if they are using a different browser, they will search for and install the versions of such plugins appropriate for their preferred browser.

I also suspect that many of the problems with the download client, such as non display of the lobby, errors in the lobby, etc, are down to the use of IE, and that if the user could switch to using their preferred browsers, the lobby would have worked fine.

Given that MGS has decided to hard wire IE into the client, they should make more effort to ensure that their software is tuned to IE, even where this means not following the accepted standards for HTML etc. It's long been known that some sites don't work properly with IE due to Microsoft not following the agreed standards but trying to impose their own. We see the same arrogance with Apple, which is why there are websites that just don't work properly on an Apple device.

issues with bonuses

Same for me asked in chat this morning , Charles said he would opted me in and it would get added when i would make a deposited on its own .It did not at all and had to asked again in live chat and was told my a another member on chat that Charles opted me in for the wrong thing that's why it was not added

Funny as i already said to Charles i understood the bonuses was being rolled out today and all i could see on my screen was a picture of a train and mobile phone and nothing pop up at the side to say about bonuses i'm sure Charles opted me in for the right dish of the day just got told other wise .Also went to check my loyalty points and there errors keep coming up on the screen .I did also pm you this morning mark hopefully you got my message.
