I'm having the exact same problem mate. Even when i respond to the automated fraud text saying that i made the transaction it still doesn't work. Getting fed up of having to phone the bank and go through all the security checks every time i want to deposit via Neteller

Not worked at all for me this week either, im giving up with Neteller for the time being. On the plus side at least i won't get charged £5 for each withdrawal now. Hopefully they get it sorted out mate

Been having issues depositing too. I was told it was VISA - Some debit cards work others don't.

I even had funds removed and the transaction was declined at Neteller. Funds eventually hit my bank again.

The Cahoot debit card doesn't play up for me when depositing into Neteller, the rest can be hit & miss.

Unfortunately, Cahoot is no longer available, I have a legacy account. However, it must have similar settings to it's new parent company, Santander, so a Santander debit card attached to something like their 123 current account may be worth trying. It may trip fraud protection at first, but it seems that it can learn from an individual's regular habits.

First Direct has been the worst for me, 50% failure rate on their old VISA credit card, and forget the debit card, it's a Mastercard.

The real problem is that a card that keeps getting blocked for Neteller is likely to keep getting blocked at casinos.

Maybe the banks are adjusting their systems to comply with the new UK regulations, and will treat casino transactions as suspicious unless informed otherwise. They may whitelist UK licenced casinos once the new regime is up & running, and there is a reasonably stable list of allowed casinos.

The driver for the banks is probably down to them being responsible for refunding fraudulent charges to victims, whether or not they are able to effect recovery from the merchant. As well as the genuine fraud, there is a problem with players who knowingly made the deposits claiming to their bank that they were victims of fraud if they lose, and the banks have to go on the available evidence, which usually favours the customer in the absence of a response from the casino with it's side of the story.

Rather than keep paying up, the banks are trying to ensure they are better able to stop such transactions. Unfortunately, this causes problems for genuine players who are using a perfectly UK legal website for gambling who have to fight past the bank's "trigger happy" fraud prevention algorithms.

One problem may be that casinos do not widely use the second layer of security, the verified by VISA service, and this may be causing the banks to be more aggressive in blocking such transactions as without this second layer, deposits can be made simply by having a copy of the information stored on the card's magnetic strip, or even in plain text on it's surface.

as your no doubt aware neteller does use the secure by visa pin code , problem is it keeps getting tripped via either the bank or neteller ,although the bank already knows these are safe transactions nothing has changed for years on my account ,seems the past 6 weeks or so i cannot make a deposit into neteller without getting hassle just the odd one goes through then if i only make make small one im lucky if i can do four deposits for casino , then i have to go on the scrounge for free chips & free spins ) not good realy

Not for me it doesn't. It has never been set up on my Cahoot card, yet this one works with no trouble.

Maybe the banks have a specific objection to Neteller.

I did find the Lloyds card troublesome for both Neteller and casinos. It works fine for £100, sometimes for £200, but any more and it trips out. Given that casinos like Ladbrokes, and more recently 32Red, have actively discouraged players from using Neteller instead of cards, this is a problem they also need to look at from their end. It's something their processors are doing that's at least partly responsible for the problem. I can buy a PC online for a four figure sum no problem, but a three figure casino deposit trips out.

I rarely use ewallets, But did the other day and worked with no problems, I uploaded some funds on he 16th with barclys bank and went threw the 3d secure and funds in there no problem, I got lucky and won, I do have the net+ card and withdraw the money from cash machine, There is a £3 charge but well worth it

Up date on this matter, I have just uploaded some funds to my nettler account and came across an unusal thing when getting verified by visa, Aks me 3 questions, Nether had this before so can say security is getting strict, Funds was up loadded with no problems low
