Hi there guys,

i have been having some problems with golden reef casino/casinorewards. I´m almost sad to write this, because everything is been so fine with this golden reef/casinorewards so far. I did win 1500€ and did withdraw that. I was paid to my Skrill account 1195€ from this withdraw with no problems,it went fine and did get that money to my Skrill account. Then i was wondering where is this 305€ that is missing and contacted casinorewards for that... i did see on my casino account that whole 1500€ was paid sameday. First they said that this 1195€ was refunded to my account and 305€ was paid but payments can take longer compered to refunds...okey. I did wait day more and nothing happend so i contacted them again and they told to contact Skrill with transaction number so i did call Skrill. They say that this payment of 305€ they make with misspelled e-mail address so money won´t come to my account but is still in payers account. They send me email that proves it and i send it to casinorewards three times now. And they don´t get this email they say....And now it´s my mistake with that email address linked to my Skrilll account so it´s not their mistake. Thought that was funny explaining....still they did pay first 1195€ right. Like i said i´m sad to write this because i´m gold VIP in casinorewards but i don´t like that they make me to do everything to get this right when it was clearly mistake in their end. Now i have to wait and wait...it´s not big money but still. :D

If you had misspelled your email address, BOTH payments would have been misdirected. Splitting the payments is done internally at their end, and in cases where both go to the same place, is not really necessary, and in this case, it has even created a problem.

Well after all it is clear that it was my mistake after all. I did write this email linked to my skrill account wrong. Reason that one part of withdraw that i did make was refunded to my skrill account so it went through with no problems. However this second part of my withdraw has been made as an payment so then they have had to use this email that i have provide to them. Earlier payments have gone fine because of this refund style of pay so this is why it happened now for a first time. So golden reef or casinorewards have nothing to do with this. And as i did say in my first message,i´m sorry and no i´m in a shame after this thing was cleared to me. Sometimes you should have better nerves and dont have to get frustrated so fast. My mistake.

They must have assumed you had two Skrill accounts, else surely the discrepancy between the refund account and the one you requested payment to would have run alarm bells. Most webforms insist you retype your email address in order to weed out accidental typos. However, it's a weakness of the Microgaming cashier that it doesn't do this, although when I deposit via Neteller and later request a withdrawal, I don't get this problem because my Neteller account is already pre filled so that I don't have to type it in and risk a typo. Seems things are different for Skrill, but I have never used it.

The other safeguard that doesn't seem to have worked is that in most cases, a new withdrawal account must be "verified" first by being used to make a deposit, usually a token amount. This would also have picked up the typo as the deposit attempt would have failed.

There could be an even worse scenario, that of the typo actually being someone else's valid Skrill account, with them ending up getting your money. It would have been a nightmare getting Skrill CS to sort this out.

mistake or not their accounts department could simply check the casino's skrill account, verify that the transfer to your skrill account was not successful and resubmit to the correct skrill email address on the same day without delaying any longer and expecting you to send further proof. Especially being a gold VIP, I am surprised that your VIP rep didn't get involved and didn't make this happening for you.

Well, i have to say that i did ask how come they didn´t check that email when they did ask documents for account verification before payment. They said it was my mistake and that´s it. It´s on me that i did type email address wrongly. It was made clear to me so it´s my mistake. That withdraw was paid today so.... I guess that doesn´t mean anything if you´re gold vip, only that you have been playing "too much" :)
