I was hoping someone could explain this bonus system to me a little better than the support agent.

I made a deposit of $20 and got a bonus of $15 at 50xb. I had a nice hit on silver fang, checked my bonus balance to see if I had cleared the $10 increment and saw $47.55 balance, $35.66 bonus balance, total credits $83.21.

The support agent said "The new bonus system takes a portion of bet placed from the cash balance and a portion from the bonus balance. Winnings from these bets are returned in the same manner. Even though the bonus amount is increasing due to a winning bet, your wagering/playthrough requirement does not increase. Once playthrough is met then all the funds moves to cash allowing you to withdraw."

I have never seen that on mgs, I'm pretty sure everything is fine, I asked what my playthrough was and he said $609.34 which seemed in line with $750. I haven't spun yet was hoping to get some positive feedback. I just can't find where to positively check where I am at concerning my bonus playthrough and with the new system I am really confused. Thanks.

 TBH I rarely take bonuses and haven't been playing much lately so maybe someone else has a better grasp, but it seems odd to me. Although I do seem to remember seeing a term recently that said something about that would happen if you did something... For the life of me I can't remember what casino it was and what the term was though.

Can you say what casino it is? If not, maybe check the T&Cs or bonus terms for the casino and see if you can find anything.

This sounds like the 32red group-type 'feed-in' bonus system, where the bonus is converted to cash in small increments as you go, i.e. $10 at a time? This means you can always withdraw your cash balance if you haven't touched the bonus amount and forfeit any remaining unconverted bonus funds?

At one time (in the Good Old Days!) all MG casinos worked the same way and it was SO simple!
But now, you are not likely to find any 2 groups using the same system :(

It is something I have heard of before, but would need the name of the casino to check the T&Cs & confirm...

Thanks for the replies e1. It is spin palace, I went over the t&c's but was confused. I played spinpalace before and never saw this so I thought I got some bonus hike by playing some game that might have been restricted. I went over t&c's again and it is released differently like e1 is saying so I guess I will spin away.
I guess this new system is in place to allow you to withdraw your balance with your bonus still active?
Too bad they don't just have a tab you could press to see w.r..

There was a thread the other week about this bonus, I have not come a cross the bonus it but will take a look,

Edit::: To many rules, 6x max cash of deposit? Also make sure you have not took no bonus on other casinos in group, I believe are, jackpot city. gaming club ect

Actually, I may have gotten that a bit wrong, reading your post again. It seems that it's a half-way house bonus. Normally either ALL your deposit and bonus is lumped together and tied to a WR before any of it turns to cash, or you play cash first and as long as you don't touch the bonus you can withdraw at any time plus any converted bonus if it turns to cash in say 10% increments.
Your bonus quoted is a pro-rata cash/bonus balance so if your bonus is 50% on a 100 deposit, each spin is 2/3 cash and 1/3 bonus. It's an odd way of doing it, I have seen it before but not at MG sites. It's not as bad as having all the d+b turn to bonus money at once, but not as good as having separate balances and playing cash first.

Yikes, I missed that 6 times your deposit max. wd! I deposited $20 so if i get to $120 during my bonus play or after playthrough I have to stop? I noticed t&c said "this clause will only be applied at the discretion of the management".?

Might be fine, but with 1st deposit and that than more than likely impose it,

I think it's an anti AP term, so I doubt that it would be enforced on someone that made a $20 deposit. Or who doesn't have a history of advantage play across in any of the other casinos in the group.

When you're getting close to meeting playthrough, you should shoot a mail to support and ask them whether that term will apply to you and if you should just stop playing. Then when they write you back and say "No it doesn't apply to you" you'll have it in writing for your PAB if it comes to that! ;)

I have played with that type of bonus setup numerous times and as mentioned above it is percentage based on the initial bonus awarded and its also as mentioned above again lol Belle Rock in the main that have run that set up for a good while now, not anymore for me as I'm a UK player.

I had a 4-reel wild desire the once for £607.50 after my first ten minutes play after I'd just taken a 50% match offer so 1/3 of my total balance was now bonus money.

The good side to this set up is that in most instances you can forfeit the bonus portion after a big win or build up of small wins and withdraw the cash portion at any time :)

This is accurate info as far as I'm aware but i've not played this set up for a couple of months now, tend to stick to 32red cash only

I made the playthrough requirement, the bonus and cash balance stayed at the same ratio no matter what my total balance was throughout. So I had less of a clue when my playthrough would end, as before when they would take $10 off as you earned it. Just looked over and it all got moved to balance.

I withdrew $160 so that was over the 6x max wd. I assumed the t&c meant 1st time depositor so I didn't talk to support. I have withdrawn over 6x deposit from this casino before when taking the bonus.

This bonus worked out, but at 50x the bonus wr, I got lucky with 150x bonus round fairly early so that sure helped to clear it.

Thanks, everyone:thumbsup:

Funny enough, I had a email today of jackpotcity and gamingclub stating that accounts will be transferd to spin palace
