Hi,

I've seen lots of irrational behaviour in casinos. I once saw someone rubbing the screen so hard that the slot machine almost tipped over.

Anyway, I thought I would share this video with the members of CM.

In casinos, I have seen a couple of "funny" habits slots players have where I am pretty sure they doing it for some kind of attention. One player I was playing next to actually did a full 360 degree turn hopping on one foot before stopping and shouting "BOOM!" after they had won. I think that was more some kind of traditional celebration though.

I'm always wary of judging how players act on the slots. I'm not a die hard slots fan and I'm reluctant to laugh or make jokes about players and their habits because you never know how deeply engrained these habits are and how serious they are.

However, it is hard to ignore it when the person on the slots machine next to you is rubbing the screen so hard that smoke starts to come out from their finger.

Does nobody adopt the yell at machine with encouragement method any more? Or perhaps more than likely yell in dismay while hunching over and holding hands in a praying position... Particularly if it's your last chance on free spins and you are outta money :p:cool:

Will admit I've done similar things in my youth.

Also recall running the perimeter of my regular amusement arcade over years gone by when the 'Jackpot Repeater' actually landed on 'Yes!'

Still tap (well more of a sharp poke sometimes) the screen to this day after the 3rd scatter as well as trying to 'talk it in'

Gave up punching fruities as after 10 years iI realised it hurts my hand

An old man in a city near the one I lived in the past dropped a fortune ( around 150k CAD ) or 75k pounds if you prefer.. in about a year playing IGT and SPIELO slots in a dirty little bar in canada.

These slots are all at around 92% rtp and it seems that droping 500$ per day on average wasnt satisfying for him.
One day he decided that was enough and tried to ease his mental pain with an axe too.
There is no such laws that protects madmens.... He went to jail for 8 months....for destroying 7 machines..

As for the people that keeps rubbing the screen... I personally think that is a sign of a solid gambling problem...
Touching the screen wont change a thing... and if you have convinced yourself it does... maybe you should take a little break...

I always enjoy seeing a nice reaction for a big win though... I remember me and a friend hitting 1300 x bet on a 2$ spin...
I jumped on a table and paid drinks to everyone :)
