Hi,
I have been playing a favorite Net Ent game at Guts for a good part of today, invested a fair amount of time and $$.
I just lost my connection to the game so I tried reloading it only to receive an error message. I tried reloading a few more times,
tried loading a different Net Ent game with the same error message popping up.
I got onto live chat and was told that Net Ent games have gone offline for scheduled maintenance on Net Ent end and would be down
for at least two hours. I asked why there was no warning issued either via a pop up or at least on the Guts welcome page.
I am sure Guts would have been aware this was going to happen at this time and should have made players aware of scheduled maintenance.
Maybe my game play would have paid off in the end or maybe not, it's just very frustrating there was no warning issued to players, any thoughts on this?
Thanks for reading.
Darren.

I was playing too, but when it went down I had a reason to cash out my winnings so for me it was a good thing;)

It was not on the same site so it's probably down everywhere. Maintenance sound better than tecnical problems but that could be the reason, and if so they couldn't have told before.

See it as a chance to do something useful for a couple of hours instead. It's irritating but the world will not go under:)

Hi poisonfish,

Apologies for not having our usual notification up during this maintenance window which lasted 1 hour and was initiated by NetEnt. Normally this long windows are either notified with the notification banner or the other option is that we remove the games until the maintenance is completed.

We should have had information about this one also, and I will try and make sure we do not miss any upcoming notifications in the future to avoid any disappointments like this.

Kindest regards,
Tony

How do you plan to rectify the situation with the user? Saying "sorry for the inconvenience" doesn't do him/her any good, don't you think?

Compensation is not a problem if you play at Guts. Don't see why they should compensate player in this case. With amount of freebies and Goodwill bonuses(cash) they give out to players then I feel they are allowed bit of room once and awhile

after all the free games (and wins) that ben has given me i would think it entirely gauche to want free chips or similar because a provider was down for maintenance

If you don't see why they should compensate the player in this case then there's no point discussing this any further.

If you see a reason that no one else can see, don't you think you should tell us then?
Or do you have anything against Guts, because that is the way it looks since you came back posting again?

So if the bus is 5 minutes late you'd ask the driver for some cash?
It happens, and if there's no financial loss incurred why should one expect a 'bung'??

Give Vinyl a PM and see if one of his lawyers can sort something out....:D

Bullsh*t.
Maintenance is maintenance.
And he could have resumed his game play after the maintenance, what's the difference.
Only because Netent games were down for an hour shouldn't mean everyone can run around and start asking for comps. LOL.
And if you feel the dire need, maybe e-mail Netent and ask them to compensate your "friend". :D:D:D

When you put it that way then maybe I....

I mean if they hadn't threw me out making me cashout when I did, I might have won a lot more :eek2:

:p

If the whole site was down for unscheduled maintenance, then I would expect them to compensate players.
And as a matter of fact it happens sometimes, casinos send out free spins or whatever.
But since it was only one provider and they have a truckload of other slots, come on, play something else.
