Betat's Igor Appreciation Thread

I think in light of Igor's decision to leave the forum, we should start this thread as a thank you for the work he has done, and maybe it can also act as a petition of sorts to maybe make him reconsider.

Let's put any past issues aside, and focus on all the positives Igor has brought to this forum, and its many members.

In the relatively short time I have been a Betat member, Igor has always been on hand and available to help and answer any questions I may have had. I even recall I time recently when he even took the time to respond to me even though he was in an airport between flights. That's dedication!

I have never received anything less than professional and polite service personally, and whilst I respect his decision and wish him the best, I honestly hope he will reconsider at some stage and return.

Whilst I'll admit I haven't always agreed with Igor's approach, this is just a simple difference of opinion one can expect on a forum, yet once past that, the end result is consistently the same, and second to none. There has not been another rep in my time, that I have seen willing to go into the same detail and length to explain a point as he.

Igor, if you read this, I know sometimes in our selfish daze, the lines between being appreciative as opposed to unappreciative can become blurred by the expectations of what's always been a fast and consistently outstanding service. I hope this thread will aim to show you that we do, and always have appreciated your contribution and service, and maybe after a deserved rest, you will return.

Already posted in another thread but I want to thank you again Igor for your great contribution to this forum and for dealing with any queries regarding Betat in such a professional and friendly manner.
It is greatly appreciated by me and I am sure many other members on this great community!!
Thanking you also again for that personal gift I received from you guys last year at the end of the quiz I had organized.
I will never forget that as that is one of the nicest things one ever did for me in my whole life and shows people who run a casino also have a heart and care about their customers!!!

Be well Igor and I hope you stay in touch,even I hope you will be back on this forum to be honest as I always looked forward to your posts and replies!

I think if Igor does not come back and join us we should all boycott Betat lol.
Only joking but i do find it very sad a valued member has decided to leave due to some crazy people.
I don't blame Igor for his thoughts and if it was one of us in our shoes i would be thinking why am i wasting my precious time on some very silly people.
On the other hand i am sure 99 percent of us are goodies and we do not want people like Igor leaving.
Keep up the great work Igor and the Betat team and i wish you all the very best.
The people who have let the rest of us down should hold their heads in shame.

I would just like to retract the comment I made yesterday when I said the thread was bad publicity for Betat. I feel now, as always, they came out on top. This is one reason why it's important for Igor to remain a member of the community. Those type of threads may crop up once or twice a month and he always deals with the matter professionally and with that the respect for betat increases. The next time such a thread arises, there will be plenty of people there to defend them and a lesson I've leant is to always wait to hear both sides of the story before giving an opinion.

It must be very stressful for him - when you put your heart and soul into trying to establish a trustworthy casino and no matter how well you do your job, there are always people complaining about one thing or another. Trying to manage the day to day running of a casino while also trying to find the time to compose a reply to a thread that is spiralling out of control. If you put yourself in his shoes, you can fully understand why he wanted to leave.

I do hope he reconsiders. I feel his membership here means more now than ever before and it would be a shame to leave now after so much good work has already been done.

Hey spintee, I really wanted to keep this separate to that drama, but I guess not everyone would know the history, so maybe I should have referenced it in the op.

But please, keep this thread free of any comments related to that issue if possible. I'd like this to be a thread of pure appreciation for Igor, and the positive experiences we have had with him, and the great service he has given all of us.

Basically a thank you, when maybe it wasn't said enough.

Afraid this incident slipped by me as well, so I'll just belatedly appeal to Igor to reconsider and continue his sterling services here.

Unfortunately, there's always a risk in social media that criticism and reactions get a bit out of hand; don't let one bad experience spoil a good track record of interacting with members here.

I joined BetAt when it first arrived on the scene.

Didn't make any deposits as I wasn't aware if they were safe etc...

HAving seen Igor around here, and the rest of the BetAt crew I decided to start making deposits.

So don't leave Igor, or at least reconsider.

I am sure Igor spent quite some time to ponder whether or not to leave the forum. Whilst I do not want to see him leave I do feel his decision is to be respected and when he feels it opportune to return we shall welcome him with open arms. Bye for now Igor.

No matter how it came to be, Igor's many contributions to the forum are utmost in our minds ........... no matter who thought of it first.

Ultimately it's Igor's decision and I hope he sticks around, he's amazingly knowledgeable and I've learned a lot by reading his posts.

That being said, you might notice that a LOT of reps who used to be much more active on the forum have stepped back and hardly post at all anymore. I could name a few right off the top of my head, but this thread is about Igor and I don't want to derail it. But those of you who have been around for a few years know what I'm talking about.

I'm sure it's frustrating when you're running a decent operation and then a player comes in and starts talking sh*t and next thing you know, you're fending off all sorts of accusations. And even IF the player was in the wrong or things are settled, there's hardly even a thank you. Or there's a term or policy change and every time you poke your head out people are pelting you with complaints about it.

JMO but I think we should all be a little more appreciative and supportive of ALL the reps here.

hi just a personal thankyou from me for you know what for igor ! i realy do hope as the other members have said that at some point you shall return in good faith.

we had a realy good active CEO here who was on hand to help out whome is going to be surely missed which is sad for the forum , i send you my kindest regards igor & hope that you can overlook certain little things , i do hope to see you at some point.

Oh my, what a sombre mood

I think it may be getting a little bit carried away though so I'd just like to make a quick statement to clear the air, so to speak..

Please understand that we are extremely busy at the moment with multiple projects in the pipeline and only 24 hours in a day. Igor's motivation for taking a break from the forum is simply because it is currently taking up far too much time which unfortunately is the resource we are tightest on. Members here are a comprehensive bunch and a simple question often-time develops in a thread which consumes the better part of days. I think we can all agree that Igor's unrelenting dedication to this forum would sometimes get the better of his time-schedule, which upon reflection is not currently ideal

That said, he told me to pass on a message of apology for the abrupt manner in which he left which may have given some members the wrong idea behind the motivation for his departure, which is simply time available. He will be back with us eventually, when schedule opens up and pressing projects are tackled.

In the meantime if anyone needs anything that they used to go directly to Igor for, you can PM myself or James(BETAT) as per usual..

Igor, I shall miss your honesty, transparency and integrity. I have faith in the team that you have built.

I understand the need to not spread yourself too thin, so do what you need to do, and don't forget there is a warm welcome from most of us when you do decide you have something to say to us.

I may be clueless, but don't get upset with me just because the visual representation of your request hit a nerve and confirmed how crazy the request sounded or looked in the first place.

You should know by now that if anyone wants to come at me for stupid reasons, you will get a response in defence. If you don't like it, don't come at me.

I never had any issue with you, so have no idea why you came out of left field with this issue (although I have my suspicions), but time to move on. I gave you what you asked.
