Are you receiving emails from casinos .... or their affiliates ... with offers you are not eligible to accept? Yeah big freaking waste of time huh? This is the place to tell us all about it.

Don't be shy. If casino SW can be used to determine eligibility for a particular offer, then why isn't it doing that? Why should we waste time wading through SPAM OFFERS we can't accept?

Let's do something about it .... put the casino name .. or the affiliate ... in your post so reps can see they need to fix this problem.

If you don't mind wasting your time, this thread is not for you. Peace out :)

Ok I will start. The box 24 team sent me a 25 nd coupon. Ever heard of them? I haven't and never played there .... how the f did they get my email?

Ditto from ruby royal .. never heard of them.

Who is freaking selling email addys?

Haha... I'm aware of both, played at both, and cashed out at both in the past without dramas. That was a long while ago though, and I no longer play at either.

This is elementary to many here, but whenever you perform an online casino search via google for example, and you end up on a casino site or a casino affiliate site, etc. tracking cookies or data mining cookies track, record, and collect your browsing activities. In turn this info is passed or sold to 3rd party advertising companies or casino affiliates of other casinos. That usually equates to spam.

You can of course disable cookies for some sites whilst browsing in-order to limit select websites from collecting and passing on your browsing preferences.

Windows for instance have security tools available in the Explorer toolbar (usually under 'safety') which allow you to disable cookies for select sites too. These security features monitor sites that attempt to track you via cookies, and aim to block them from building an advertising profile on you.

Of course, a quality spam filter helps (windows for eg. has it's own, and most anti-virus programs also help minimise the junk). You can always add select email spammers to your email blocked list, and create email rules that restrict the level of spam getting in.

There are other ways to reduce spam, which some members will probably point out. At the end of the day, I just delete anything foreign in my mail box that I don't like or recognise. 2 ezy ;)

Box 24 - That's a good one! It is now part of the reputable Sloto'Cash group (since Dec '12), but in the past this casino has changed owners AND software a few times!
It's now back on Top Game software where it started, but in the past it was briefly Rival (from November '09 to July '11).

Ruby Royal was a stand-alone Rival from it's launch in August '09, but it got taken over by the Revenue Jet Group in Oct '13. You will now find these guys on the Rogue List (since March '14).

It's worth pointing out that a lot of spam does not come direct from the casino, but via rogue affiliates. The sending e-mail address and/or the data in the full hyperlinks are usually the biggest give-away to this.

Not too long ago I got an email from Desert Nights, quoting my name and account number with an offer. When I tried tried to redeem, it said to contact support. They told me offer went out in error, sorry for the confusion. This was the second time they had been "confused" in a short period of time. Told them we could avoid future confusion by closing my account.
