Just got a invite with bonus offers in the mail from these guys (mygocasino.eu). Went to search whether they were trustworthy or not and found absolutely no info.

Then I went on their site and looked around and found the "recent winner" list. Apparently twice each day people win an average of $20,000 jackpot each and show up on their "recent winner list"

How does a casino that nobody's ever heard of, and no info comes up when searched, manages to have so many players that each day 2x 20k jackpots are hit?

Or is it as I suspected, it's fake?

Either way how the hell did they get my address? Which accredited casino sold my info to them?

Actually I think that casino has been around for awhile, they used to be called something else (was it just GO casino?) before the UIGEA - if it's the same one anyhow, it was a Vegas Tech casino. Don't know much about it because VT casinos don't take Canadians, but maybe if you try searching for just Go Casino you might find more info.

Note: That's not to say that it's owned by the same people or is as reliable/unreliable as it was before...

Nothing suspicious about that?? All Casinos has several BIG winners every day nothing strange in that just for you info.

Personally I think those "big winners" lists are total bullshit at just about every casino on the net which have such lists.

My main problem with them is, they never put the "big wins" in context;
Are the wins from a single spin?
If so, how much were they betting per spin? (Recently I queried a big win a casino was "advertising" and it was off a £100 spin!!!)

Or... (MUCH more likely IMHO) do they just add up all the winning spins from a player in a session / 24hr period and call that "winnings"?
e.g. they could start with say $1,000, play for ages and have $50,000 worth of winning spins, but still end up with $0 at the end of their session; They casino could "bend the truth" without lying and say the player "won" $50,000.

I always take these lists with a VERY big pinch of salt.

Agreed, those lists raise more questions than give answers.

I usually check 32Red's daily winner list which shows a few big winners from the day before (game and the amount won). It doesn't state was it won during one spin and also the stake isn't visible. I asked chat to share some insight on those advertised wins some time ago (mainly interested in the bet size) but they couldn't provide me with any info. Kind of weird to be honest for such a transparent operation otherwise.

Probably it's just that it wouldn't be such a good advertisement if the top winners indeed are playing with maximum stakes (so the casinos withhold the other side of the story). Timmy winning 10000€ is easy to advertise as a huge win but add a bet size of 500€ and it doesn't seem so huge anymore does it :p

The winners list isn't all that dodgy looking.....

THIS is!

5.The Company is fully licensed and regulated for the purpose of operating a virtual casino on the internet, under the name of www.MyGoCasino.eu.

This is the ONLY reference I can find to any form of licence, absolutely nothing on the home page at the bottom where one would normally find such information, along with licence number and verification link.

The fact that it is using the (dot)eu domain should mean that it should have a legitimate EU licence, but it doesn't.

yes it is in fact the same VT casino GO Casino. about say..6-12 months ago, they changed their names (Crazy slots became mycscasino.eu, online vegas because myovcasino.eu, Go casino became mygocasino.eu, etc). Personally, I've had nothing but amazing experiences and fantastic customer service over the years, and my withdrawals have always been hassle free. best tournaments for existing US players to play at. they allow no new players, which kind of makes me feel excited I was a player before they did. I feel I've had much better chances (and have won 1st a couple times) playing their tournaments for this reason. just my 2 cents, these are just my go to casinos when I deposit usually.

I wonder if the fact that they're taking US players is the reason to hide licensing info?

Probably, but NO normal licencing jurisdiction actually allows this, so wherever they are licenced, it can't be a legitimate gambling licence, probably just a company licence. Using an EU domain will also spark the interest of the EU regulatory authorities as here there is no need to hide such information. Despite not taking on new players, their website looks like they are.

If they accept a UK player after 1st October, they will also spark the interest of the UKGC.
