I'm just going to say it from the start.

Guts must win casino of the year 2014! :notworthy

Why you may ask? Well, after receiving yet another free 30 spins for no reason, I started to think about it, and compare certain points with all the other sites I play at, and my findings were, whilst some casinos can match Guts in certain areas, I don't think there is another casino that can say they have all the bases covered like Guts have.

Now before the haters come out from under their rocks, I'll save them some time. This is simply a warranted good news story about a casino. It IS open to debate, and I strongly invite it. I have no affiliation with Guts or any other casino for that matter, and I'm simply a fan. I am not a fan because I just won. I have consistently loss at Guts like I have at most casinos. In fact, I have only ever made two small withdrawals at Guts when I first joined, and I have been a member for roughly 6 months. I have made many more withdrawals at other sites, but as most of us know, there's more to a casino then winning, as this post will explain.

With that being said, I would like to know your opinions, and also which other casino checks all these boxes?

- Excellent user friendly site

- Excellent selection of games

- 2 hour withdrawal processing

- Generous deposit bonuses with very reasonable 35x bonus wagering

- Weekly free spins for no reason, and we're talking 20-30 free spins, not the crappy and seemingly pointless 5 free spins most other sites offer.

- NO WAGERING ON FREE SPIN WINNINGS EVER!! Again, most other sites have wagering, or game restrictions such as winnings only payable on Netent.

- Very regular and generous comps.

- 24 hour customer service 7 days a week

- Huge range of deposit/withdrawal options

- Clear correspondence, never misleading, what you see is what you get

- I have never seen a legitimate complaint or bad word against them on this forum, or any other for that matter.

- It's the one casino I haven't needed to close my account due to poor service, lol

- IMO, the best rep here hands down in Ben. No question or request to large, seemingly available 24/7, and always gets the job done. I honestly think he's a part time gymnast as he's always bending over backwards.

Now, I think that's everything, lol.

So I'm putting the challenge out there to all forum members. Which other casino can tick all those boxes? Now I know some casinos can obviously tick some boxes, but I'd like to know if any other site can tick all those boxes, including the terms and conditions stated.

Let's see if it's possible. I'm quietly confident it's not. ;)

Anyway, Guts get my unconditional early vote for casino of the year, and thanks again to Ben and the crew for making my time as a member consistently enjoyable.

Also, thanks for the inspiration behind this post, another 30 free spins for nothing! Unfortunately no wins this time as usual for me, but hopefully practice makes perfect and the wins aren't far away.

Keep up the great work, and this is just a reminder that we loyalists appreciate all you do, when you really don't have to.:thumbsup:

Looks like you're ready to update your profile mate, under the heading Best Casino IMHO ;)

GUTS is great, one of my favs too.

Absolutely one of my favourit casinos too, and have been since the beginning

But if I compare what you said with some other similar casino then for me Thrills is actually a bit better.
They are not accredited yet but I hope they will be one day:)

Guts is one of my favourites. Just today 30 free spins on Big Bang where I won $33. In fact it was 50 spins, 10 spins + 10 spins and then 30 spins. Their cashout times are extremely quick and support is top notch. However, depending on where you live, its really a toss up between Guts and Betat for best casino. 32RED is still a strong contender to those who are eligible to play MG. Whoever wins the ahem title I am sure Guts can only get better.

Oh yes, I forget to mention the extremely competent Ben who is destined to be one of the best casino managers around. For players who wont simply take my word for it, just try them out. Win or lose, the experience will be very satisfying.

Well said OP.....

Couldn't have said it better myself.
I will add however I have been with them since just after they started and have to admit I have had fairly frequent withdrawals, I have a whinge about my dreadful losing streaks of course - who likes to lose, yet I do have to remind myself that despite this - over my whole time at guts I have at the very least broke even. I can honestly say I do not have anywhere near that RTP with any other casino.

I second the comps! despite having wins, when I do experience awful luck, Guts frequently add comps that help ease the pain, but it's also never long until the next promotion of free spins anyway, of which again I agree are very generous unlike some others.

May be a bit of cliche , but happily Christen Guts - 'The People's Casino' IMHO

Now if they could just lower minimum deposits to £5 and add William's interactive slots and send me flowers every week - They would be 10/10. (ok just kidding about the William's interactive) :yahoo:

I agree Thrills looks good.

I'm yet to make my first deposit there yet as I was put off by the high wagering on the first deposit. In saying that, I think their wagering on subsequent deposits is x35 the bonus, and I'm not 100% on this, but from what I've seen I think some free spins are wager free.

I might skip the first bonus and go straight to the second if allowed. So they do have potential, but they already have a few negatives compared to Guts from what I've seen. I don't know enough about them in regards to withdrawals etc, to make a complete comparison, hence one of the points of my post.

If you guys know enough about the casino you rate, maybe an idea would be to copy and paste my points about Guts, whilst stating your casino's name, and then adding their relevant information as a side by side comparison.

Just a suggestion. ;)

Agreed!

Fully agree!

Guts is for me the best out there now.

Glenn at customer support is fantastic.

+ all reasons already mentioned.

Just waiting for the WMS slots and I dont need another:)

I agree Betat is also great, however I still don't think they can match Guts like for like regarding all the points I made. Betat have slightly higher wr's on bonuses, some (maybe all I'm not sure) free comps have a max cash out restriction, and I don't remember ever receiving weekly free spins from them with no wagering on winnings. Betat also, until their recent Netent release, only offered MG slots. Betat do have great reps, some great offers and fun promotions, and are generous with their comps, even if they do have restrictions. I have posted a thread on here in the past thanking them for a random $50 comp, and I have won a few $10 chips via their promo's here. So definitely no complaints, and I do rate them, however once again some short comings compared to Guts IMO.

Unfortunately I was never impressed with 32red and never stuck around to become a regular customer. They have very nice reps here from the chats I've had, but I just found better value elsewhere in terms of game selection and ongoing offers etc (obviously ). Just my opinion and personal preference of course.

I'm liking this side by side comparison, so thanks all for the comments, and keep them coming. Probably a good thread for any newbies to read also.

Yeah I agree, a nice 1 hour massage once a fortnight at least would be the icing on the cake.

We can dream I guess. ;)

Thrills have the exact same as Guts but they have a lot more bonuses and promotions.
Also wagerfree spins.
If the cashout isn't fast enough you can ask support and they give it to you. (at least to me)
35x wagering
well, everything you mentioned.

Don't know about comps though since I haven't asked.
...and nice reps in here too.

It's like a middle year award thread ;)

Better than 32Red no casino will never be though but I just compared with Guts;)

Naturally..... It takes it's toll on the old back you know leaning over the laptop or equivalent..... If they keep us in good shape we can play longer.:clap:

Tirilej, because you recommended them I thought I would go to the site now and give them a go with a small first deposit before I can make my usual deposits Thursday.

Whilst I was investigating the promotions I noticed their current promotion stated that customers could get 10 free spins just for logging in. Great I thought! A nice little surprise before I deposit. So I open the slot, and no free spins!!

I contacted support and politely asked why there were no free spins showing, and I was asked to wait whilst he investigated. On his return he asked if I had received an email regarding the offer. I said no, and only noticed it on your site now, as someone on casinomeister recommended you so I popped in.

I was told that only people that received an email were eligible for the free spins, and that didn't include me. Just out of curiousity Tirilej, did you receive an email regarding this offer?

Now usually I would be fine with that, however nowhere on the site where the offer was advertised, including in the terms, did it state that the offer was only available to the players who received an email notification. It simply said, customers can log into their account and find 10 free spins because it's happy hour.

Obviously I read between the lines, and know they assumed I was a bonus hunter/abuser, but this pissed me off personally, and cost them a potential loyal customer. For me, this falls under the point I made in my op regarding misleading offers, and what you see is what you get.

Considering the amount I usually spend each week, I'd say it's their loss, but I definitely won't be playing there now unfortunately.

At least now I have my own experience to compare them with Guts, and they fail!!! Lol.

Not your fault Tirilej, just thought I'd share the experience, but thanks for the suggestion anyway.

Azzurri you might find this hard to believe but for once I agree totally with EVERYTHING you posted. Never thought id ever say that lol:D. Guts is by far the best casino out there at the moment especially as its sportsbook is there for football betting now. Other great casinos out there as well but each has a small negative like withdrawal times, wagering on free spins etc. whereas I cant actually find anything negative about GUTS. Definitely number 1 in my opinion:thumbsup:

I can say it is a good site and how a casino should operate, I make an odd deposit now and than but I do not get free spins? May be if I was thrown sum now and than maybe I would lean towards the site abit more, But so many good sites now days I float around and if geting a offer than would normally deposit there,

I no you rarly get any junk emails of guts but maybe send out theses free spins to the big depositers just to remind them of the site? Instaed of them getting riped for sending emails they use the free spins ploy instead, Im not a big depositor in 1 go & I myself received 0 spins :(

Always good to av a few especailly at the end of month as normally wiped out

Now I think you're just silly.

The happy hour start in two hours so noone have gotten those spins yet.
Probably you need to have made at least one deposit to get the email, but I think everyone that can read their calender will get the free spins. I'm not sure though.

Well, we all have different opinions. You stick to Guts and I have them all :)

Spintee, I think you'll find the free spins Guts send out are to loyal regular customers, and not just big depositors.

You yourself have mentioned you don't play at Guts often, and tend to float around, preferring to deposit where the offers are. Nothing wrong with this of course, but from experience myself, I found that the more sites you are a member at, the harder it is to build up loyalty and therefore receive added offers such as regular free spins. I recently closed a lot of accounts just so I could focus on a select few and build up that loyalty, and since then I've started to receive these little nice extras.

I also make mainly straight deposits and rarely take deposit bonuses etc, so that may also have something to do with it. If you're not always taking deposit bonuses, most places tend to give you other extras because you passed on them previously, so it all evens out I guess.

I can confirm one thing though. Guts don't discriminate. Some weeks I've spent big, others I've spent nothing, but I keep going back as a loyal customer and get the same treatment regardless of how much I spend.

I think you're a right, and you do have to of made a deposit. However, I am of the same opinion as you, because they make it look like anyone who reads the calender can get the free spins, and they make no mention of needing an email on their site. I'm just going by what the CS agent said, and apparently you need an email.

Knowing my luck he's probably wrong.

You can't have them all, but we can share a few, I'll keep Guts, and you can keep Thrills, lol. Deal? :D

As I said In 1 of my posts b4, Im rattling the casinos I play right down, Hopefully in the next month or two I be able to count on 1 hand how many I play at, No matter what offers I get threw from the rest,

I play to many and thats were the problem sits, I do not see the reason no more to have more than a few not now with all the multi platforms, It is good to have a few low as sometimes your lucks just down on some,

Time will tell :)

Who is thrills sister sites as remeber reading somewhere? If so can you still sign up if signed with others

There is one negative - Don't ever close your account in haste

I signed up a while ago, and had a terrible time playing VERY laggy IGT slots (I was almost exclusive playing IGT at the time). From what i remember I didn't make much of a dent in the WR of the SUB and with the performance of the slots, I decided it wasn't a site i'd be using again and so closed my account.

Then months later, after reading all the good reviews on here, I decided to give them another go. So I contacted CS and was told an account could not be reopened and a new account could not be created. So I contacted the rep on here and was told the same.

I'm no big roller (only depositing £400-£500 a week between several sites), so it's not like they're going to gain that much from me. But I do deposit at most of my regular casinos every week.

I find that odd. Can't see why you couldn't reopen it. Were you polite about it all? Did you ask to have it closed permanently accidentally?

I just asked to have it closed, as i didn't expect to be using it again. I can't remember exactly what i said, but i'm normally quite polite about these things

Hi,

Please send me a PM with your username. If you requested to be excluded for a certain period or set that yourself there is no way we can reopen it until the exclusion period is over as it would be a breach of our responsible gaming terms. If you just requested to have it closed with no specific reason then I don't see why it would not be reopened.

Cheers,

Ben

What calendar are you referring to?
Just had a look at their site, and I couldn't find anything.

Thanks!

I believe you need to be logged in to see it. I don't know if it's country restricted, but it's really good.
Take a look at Rainmakers blogg. I believe he have been updated it every day with the offers.
