Hi Folks:

In April 2014, slot manufacturer Bally Technologies invited players to see how slot machines are made at their Las Vegas facility. This is a video I put together from the experience.

Thanks for the insight to how games are developed (well kinda). Hopefully you can score some big wins on them when they are on the casino floor.:)

Thanks osulle ... I believe the tour guide mentioned the assemble 25,000 machines a year at this location! It's really interesting to see how many parts there are. Bally and WMS Gaming both started as PINBALL companies ... and when you think of it ... the products are not that different!

Appreciate your comments!

Wow, great video!

Jokes weren't bad either :)

It would've been interesting to see them assemble the parts but great video nonetheless!

Connect Four!

Wow! Connect four seems to be a very interesting concept! ...and it brought back some good childhood memories

Hi iakovos!

Greetings from Canada to Greece.

Indeed ... I have played Connect Four a few times now -- it is available in nickel denomination at my local. Here is an example of my play:

Hi NetEntFollower:

It's pretty interesting how everyone takes lunch at exactly the same time -- and the place is a complete ghost town. The number of parts in each machine is staggering -- and it is clear that lots of stuff is partially assembled -- so it could be much worse! This is a company with a lot of experience on these types of lines ... with their pinball machine roots!

Bally is one of the worst manufactures out there. Can't believe anyone plays them. I get that they have a B&M following but how they are able to get players online is beyond me. Low RTP, hard to hit bonuses on all of their slots, visually not that good either and the win sounds are annoying.

i must admit i do stay clear once i see the bally logo , ive tried them a few times but the features hardly pay at all ,so realy don't bother shame because some of there games are quite good there just not well balanced this is what lets them down big time , i have seen some very good wins but they are once in a blue moon kinda thing.

Hi mrjones ...

It's funny ... because Bally is generally disliked by the internet crowd ... yet ... they do really well on the casino floor ... from Quick Hits ... to Michael Jackson. They have been extremely successful in the progressive space.

As we should all know -- Bally machines do not pay less than other manufacturers ... they just pay differently. Slots will pay what ever the casino sets them to pay. In the case of progressives, the base games generally has to hold more in order to accomplish those big progressive payouts.
