Been getting spammed by this new casino, so I decided to see who it belonged to. Still don't know that but was going thru the T&Cs just for lack of something better to do. Mostly standard stuff with a few 'screw you' clauses but when I got to the ID verification stuff, I found a whole new kink.

Not only to the want a copy of your DL, credit card, and utility bill, they want a copy of your bank statement, loan or credit card statement.

Really? Who in their right mind is going to send a loan statement to an overseas casino, much less bank statement or credit card statement? It's dicey enough to send your DL or credit card copy to a casino. And you have to make a deposit first before they will accept your documents.

Just made me laugh although I'm sure that there will be a few players that will deposit and if they win, be on here trying to get paid.

Don't do it!!!!! You have been warned!! :D

Thanks...you just answered all my questions! The ones I've been too lazy to find out...LOL:D

I've been getting the spam also and did play the $50 free chip just for grins and giggles. I never could figure out where they came from. I wouldn't have deposited anyway but was curious about them so thanks again! ;)

No biggie yet but havent played online for months...everytime I try to unsubscribe the pointer arrow doesnt function over link , strange.

That spam is for one casino in the famous Virtual Group. Slots of Vegas or Cool Cat.
They have just change the name to trick you in to download the casino.
Fake-spam:rolleyes:

Well you may not have deposited, but you sure have let them know that you and your email address are responsive and willing to download and play, and been added to boatloads of "active lead" databases.....which means more SPAM for you.

Please....to those reading.....DO NOT click any spam links, download rogue casinos, and most certainly DO NOT give them your personal details. It's a bad idea all round. Yes, you might win, but it will be a tiny max withdrawal, and your details are worth much more than that to the casino (and they should be to everyone).

I wouldn't even have thought about it like that. A bit like those daft texts I get saying (something like) "YOU could be entitled to compensation/mis-sold PPI, reply now... etc"? I never reply; I read that replying even a rude "fuck off!" is like gold dust to these scumbags. Lets them know you are there, and your number gets farmed out to all sorts

Sounds like they do pay though

There is a thread about this casino already, and I agree that it's maybe smart to stay away.

https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/threads/jackpot-grand-casino.54688/

Reading that thread though, it sounds like while they are slower than someone would like, they do actually pay.
If they pay, once documents are received, within 2 weeks, how are they a rogue??

When I think rogue, I think someone like slotmadness, that actually put through charges on my card that I hadn't made. Or other casinos that never pay, after months of BS.

Please illuminate, as a newbie here, I do want a better undrstanding.

Thanks
Cat

sfcat,

Experience, not personal but others, shows that these type of casinos will pay small amounts for a while and then if you hit something big, they do everything in the book to keep from paying. It's best to just leave them alone unless you are willing to chance it.

It's getting hard enough to get paid by accredited casinos without having to chase down hinky casinos that have no intention of paying off in the first place.

Sovietsky,

US players take a chance everytime they make a withdrawal. We never know how long it will take to get paid. And when we get paid, will the wire be returned by our bank, will the check cash?

It's a crap shoot at best for US players so why take the added risk of playing at a casino that probably won't pay you anyway? At least if you play at the accredited casinos listed here, you can get help getting paid if needed.

Now I understand better. I would like to know more about the situation in US.
Why did it became like that? When did it happend? What happens if you get "caught" playing online slots?

A link or something would be nice.

Sovietsky,

When the US gov. passed the UIGEA bill, don't remember the date, it became illegal for US citizens to deposit to an online casino and in return it is illegal for a banking institution to receive funds from known gambling establishments, with the exception of US horseracing sites.

So, we have a really difficult time finding ways to deposit and the casinos have difficulties finding processors that will send funds to US players. That's why we have limited casino softwares available.

It just sucks all the way around.

Jackpot Grand and Lock Poker both requesting same documents

Just received a flyer in the mail today from them. The return address was;

Lester Dawson
13930 N Harvey Rd
Edmond OK 73013

The business listed for that address is: Strategic Insurance Software

and the envelope has a First Class Presorted U.S. Postage Paid, from San Diego CA.

The site is registered with Domainmonster.com their servers are registered with Mesh Digital Limited, and they're using Identity Protect Limited out of Surrey GB for their privacy. Oh and it looks like they just started the site early May this year.

You are braver than I. Wasn't going anywhere near this one. By the way, the ID, Bank Statement thing. Lock Poker started doing that last year.
