We have been playing at Winstar on Interstate 35 right across the Texas/Okla state line and at Choctow at Durant,Okla which is on 69 after Dennison Texas
Lately we started visiting some of the smaller casinos
The one right behind the gas station before Winstar
One up in Ardmore Golds casino I think is name take 142/Veterans Blvd
one in stringtown about 30 miles north of Durant. Stay on 69 and it is on left after passing town and just over the bridge
and a small one over in kingston, okla on Hwy 70 little ways out of town and before Lake Texoma
All of these small casinos semed to have a lot better pay out than the big ones
Every machine played gave us our money back at least once and several payed us way more than deposited,as much as 100-900 dollars and that is not even playing close to max bet
We have walked in with a couple of hundred dollars 150 to 200 each and played from 4 in the afternoon till the next morning and walk out with money not sure which ones close for a couple of hours a day but am sure String town one closes at 1 in morning till 9 in morning
We have done fair at the bigger ones but it is a nice change of pace in the smaller ones and do better
If you are looking for a different place to play give these places a look
The hardest one to find is in Ardmore as it is on the east side of town away from Interestate 35 ,the others are fairly easy to find all can be found on about any site dealing with Okla
Any one else have a favorite place to play

I've been to the one in Durant and the one in Thackerville and was impressed with both.

But the one where I had the most fun was in Idabel. Was in an old Piggly Wiggly store. I had a ball. Played most of the night and still came away with money. The casino workers and the wait staff were so nice and friendly.

Just goes to show you that sometimes bigger isn't better. :D

We played there a year or so ago ,and saw something really interesting there. We walked in around 3 in the afternoon and in the front middle of the casino ,a guy was playing either a ruby red or a lucky red 25 cent slot one line 3 reel . The guy had just hit a jackpot they cleared the machine and first pull hit another jackpot
after they cleared it he hit 4 back to back triple bars, then hit like 3 red sevens back to back
When we left at around 9 that night the same man was playing the same machine and still hitting jackpots and either tripple bars or red sevens on it
I am not going to say he was a ringer but sure was odd that he would hit that much stuff on the same machine and not pull it
We did not have a lot of luck but did enjoy the place ,if you get a chance try the small ones I mentioned
We have played alot of casinos in Oklahoma as now they seem to be doing better than Louisiana

We stopped at WinStar a couple of times and didn't really do well. The same goes with Route 66 outside of Albuquerque, however, we just stoped at the two smaller ones on I-40 and actually hit some good wins. We'll have to try the ones you mentioned though the next time we go through Oklahoma!

hope you find them as fun as we did, Winstar is just so big it is now the 3rd largets in the nation and 5th largest in the world

Hi there all. What are the limit spreads on all table games that these casinos in Oklahoma offer?

I have friends who play table games and would love to know this.

Nobunaga

I am not sure as I do not play table games ,I do know that there are very few roullete wheels and only one casino that I know of that has crap tables
The only thing all have is poker, not sure that they all have blackjack

ladies and gents,

Are there any photos of these places?

for some reason im picturing some shady joints in the back skirts off town or something with Mafia type staff there watching your every move.

I know im probably way off the mark but the way you are all explaining it they seem very small casinos.

Same old you may have overlooked it ,yes three of the ones I am talking about are small in terms of casinos, but I assure you they are some of the cleanest places you would want to walk into .
I think these three have maybe 150 to 200 machines each ,so the overhead they have is really low which allows them a little bit better payout or play time
I have been in the parking lot in a convertiable and sound asleep and not once have I been bothered or approached by anyone.
They are far from seedy and dreay looking . They are still controlled by the different indian tribes in Oklahoma but we enjoy them very much
Now Winstar casino which is also in Oklahoma is the 3rd largest casino in the United States and the 5th largest in the world with well over 6,500 machines and I have no idea how many poker tables they have.
Choctow in Durant is another big casino with roughly 4000 machines I would guess you can google casinos in Oklahoma and find homepages and infop on nearly all of them
If YOU would like more info email me and we can email to each other

I second what doc said. The casinos at Durant and Thackerville are huge, on the scale of any casino except possibly Vegas.

The one I talked about in Idabel, OK was probably the most fun of any casino I ever went to and believe me, I have been to alot. It was clean, the people were very nice. The clientel were nice. They had security. This particular casino (don't remember about the big ones) doesn't serve liquor. So you don't have that problem.

While it may not have been on the scale of Winstar, it was very nice.

And didn't see one shady Mafia type anywhere. :D
