Dear Cindy,

thisisvegas has updated the way a promotion is considered completed.

There are two ways that a player can complete a promotion:


By completing the Wagering Requirements
OR

By getting your balance to exactly $0
If you have not met the wagering requirements for your promotion, your balance must 0.00 before the promotion is deemed to be completed. For example, if you have 0.20 credits in your account you must wager out that balance in order to claim another promotion.

Note that this will NOT stop you from re-depositing however, if your balance is above 0.00 when the subsequent deposit is made, the remaining wagering for the previous promotion will carry over to the new deposit.

So if we make a new deposit and have .20 left over in a previous bonus that same bonus is carried over into the new deposit. That makes no sense to me.
 
The only reason I can think of is there could have been players who hit big when they had less than $1 balance and they didnt need to complete the WRs. Scrooges of the highest order.
 
Yes, I got some email from different Rivals too.

I guess this update is to take advantage of players who don't look their balance and when is near "0" go to cashier to make another deposit.
Before this update, I remember you can have some coins left (0,5, 0,10..) and the WR and the promotion was considered completed.

At least, they should put some notification (popup, etc.) alerting players before making a new deposit...but I'm sure they will not do it...:rolleyes:
 
It makes sense to me - Just dont play there with such insane terms. Always im surprised when a casino shoots itself in the head and does everything possible to put an a gambler off from making a deposit.
 
There were popups in the casino when I logged on about this rule. I have done that...had .20 or .30 left and made a deposit without thinking and didn't realize a wr was on my new deposit but busted out so at that time it didn't matter..glad it's cleared up now.
 
This is a global change across all Rival casinos....yet another stupid term added to their long list...99% of online casinos consider WR null and void once you reach a balance of < $1. And they certainly do not attach any remaining WR that's leftover onto a new deposit in which a bonus wasn't claimed.
 
I got this as well, from 2 rivals. This means that u REALLY have to make sure that IF u useda bonus and have 2 cents left - to actually go and play them first...
I think it is a bit of a strange rule but ok, not hard to meet!
 
If this isnt the most stupid term Ive seen this year, then it is very very close.

Maybe a Rival rep can explain why?

I bet some people get caught out too.....would be interesting to see what results from a PAB when a player deposits again WITHOUT claiming a bonus and is then held to the WR of the previous one. It might be in the terms, but its just another ridiculous hoop for players to jump through.
 
I don't know if this is related with this change, but yesterday i took a 20$ no deposit bonus in Mayan Fortune, made WR and tried to withdraw (300$ max). Then this screen appeared.

I contacted CS by chat and they told me that there was an error in the Withdraw Section. (BTW, they should take care to the player asking for support, in the chat transcript appears "This is Vegas" support.. :rolleyes:)

They told me that he will forward to Management. Still waiting..
 
I have received the same message from just about all of the Rival casinos, Absolute and Slotocash are the exclusions so far. I don't play with a bonus normally, why have to try to make a playthrough and then have the bonus money deducted from my winnings and to be limited to how much I can win?

I told them that once they fixed the glitch they should inform me and not ask me to try every few hours or so. Furthermore, if this took several days or a week to fix, the withdrawal should not be kept pending for the normal 24 hours + 2-5 processing days and be processed immediately. After initially refusing my latter request the live chat staff finally told me that the request will be forwarded to their finance department. I believe that my requests are reasonable.

Again I ask....would this be taking so long if it was the DEPOSITS that were disabled???
 
These guys just get better and better. I had such high hopes for Rival when they first came on the scene, but IMO....it's been nothing but downhill for the last year or more. Doesn't bother me in the least that they stopped taking Canadian players, they're doing us a favour as far as I'm concerned.

I have major concerns about the company in general, but I'll save that for later. :)
 
Error update

Just an update. i received an email from Mayan CS saying the problem was solved and that I can make the withdrawal.

I've tried, but the same error appears. I've sent another email and their response is "wait and try later"..:(

I've just opened the account with them 1 week ago, but not sure if I'll maintain too much time.
