Ok, I know almost next to nothing about these fruity machines, being from the US, so please shed some light!!

I was looking for some new slots to try out, so I decided to give these a whirl in fun mode. Well, I played 150 spins at $10 a pop, and well.......I got exactly TWO wins.....one for $20 and another for $600. Is this normal? Should I assume these are, ahem, HIGH variance????

I did read the rules so I think I understand how they work. I only played 2, You Lucky Bastard and that new Mouse one.

Also, I hardly see these in the winner screenshot threads, so should I just assume that they hardly ever pay? Or no one plays them?

I remember reading that these typically pay around 70%....but for the land based versions....I am sure this % is higher for online? Or no?

Also, unless I am braindead, I remember reading that it is possible to "force" jackpot wins....by throwing away smaller wins? Or is this just for the land based variety?

Any input would be greatly appreciated. As it stands now, 2 wins out of 150 doesn't exaxctly make we want to dump real money into them....

Time to take a deep breath and relax. You only did 150 spins. That is a very small sample size to go buy. I recently did 500 spins on a slot and didn't get a single bonus... 150 spins really isn't enough data to go buy.

Also, a 60x win is a pretty darn good win during 150 spins.. Especially if it was early on.. I would have been quite excited!!

3 Reel Slots stink, yes, because there's long dry spells and sometimes very few wins, but then again it's called gambling - not winning.

Good luck.

Well I understand 150 isn't a large sample, but 148 out of 150 that paid ZERO?

Im just wondering if these kinds of runs are normal with these fruit machines.

remember these are AWP's!! nothing like you guys have in the US
its impossible to "force" an AWP that has automatic wins with noway of losing it.....there is only a couple treasure island is VWM's baby ive personally tried to force it a few times and shat my pants and took and always ended up about 20% down and will personally not play em again!

final note is be carefull plz! these slots are barstewards! but i will leave VWM to explain in more detail as he is the man but wanted to let u know to be carefull incase he does'nt get on for a while!

do an experiment on "treasure island" do 20 spins at $5 a spin then drop it to 10 cents a spin and watch lol

that's why I closed all my Casino Rewards accounts and stopped playing.
Can't win anything substantial at 20 cents and at $5 a spin can't get any bonus rounds 99.99% of the time.

Do the other platforms suchas Rival and RTG have the same fix?

slotplayer.........its because there AWP's (amusements with prizes) the slot will take a certain amount b4 paying out all uk pub slots work this way.each spin is not random its a fixed spin.BUT the only advantage u can get on playing a 78% AWP is forcing which means refuse all wins consistantly until it has taken enough money to pay the jackpot...the gamble is that fred who played it before you filled it up and its almost ready to pop :D

So how do you refuse a win?? Or do the online versions play differently??

And are you saying that all these Microgaming AWPs play 78%??

Still confused:confused:

I have to disagree with that because i won big twice on one of those MG AWP, TheGeeGees. Both times i was new to a casino and just played the game a couple of time. I did not put much money in at all. So its not necessary that you have to force it... I have to agree though that the features are not random but can't figure yet out when it "decides" to pay you...
I am still dreaming to repeat those wins :D

ok I understand now, I was not familiar with the MG AWP slots, as they're 3 reels slots and I never play them.

I was interpreting the post to mean that it is typical of the MG slots to give bonus rounds on the lower coin denoms but rarely at the higher coin denoms.

Which btw is why I stopped playing them and closed all my Casino Rewards accounts.

In my experience these online AWP's cannot be forced, even if you 'reject' a win (via nudges or on the feature board) it will just roll a win in around the same amount it already offered you.

For example, Game On! (my favourite of all the online AWP's), the feature has 3 'trails', the top amount for each of the trails is 100x, 250x or 1000x bet(You can only win on one of the trails it automatically selects - when it makes the whistle sound). i.e. on the 100x max feature it climbs from 2x bet upto 100x bet and you have to click 'stop'. If you stop it at say 75x, it will throw in lots of wins on the reels afterwards during normal play to make up the difference to 100x win. So it always wanted to pay you 100x and will do so even if you miss the top pay. (hope that makes sense). There is no forcing on these online slots, they are random machines.

The difference with the land based fruit machines is that some can be forced ($5-$35 jackpot - low variance around 70-80% payback), they are not in any way random. Some of the $500 jackpot machines are 'compensated' (Class B3), meaning they are not random and will pay when ready too, but cannot usually be forced as they don't allow holds on the reels or nudges, they are multi-line video slots as in the US. Search google for the Fruit-Emu site and download the emulator and some roms and check it out for yourself.

Again, I hope this makes sense!

u got very lucky!! your slot must of been ready to pay when u downloaded not sure how the start figure is worked out..
try going back to the same slot and see how it pays
u will lose the feature 1st press and will win very little until you fill it up again
so basically once u have hit big dont ever play it again as it remembers

when this starts to happen you have to up your bet to stop it then drop ur bet again and hope its had enough to get to the jackpot.

cannot believe VWM has not contributed yet

All Microgaming Fruit Machines are really very tough~~(75%)

My favorite MG fruit machine is Pub Fruity, which has much high payout than others.(about 85%)

Where did you get those figures from?
Personally I would be very surprised if MG's AWP's pay less than 94%.

However, everything else posted above is pretty much true - these AWP's are rigged shite.
Only play them if you like being really wound up by a stupid machine, and not because you want to win.

Is it just me, or does everyone get the "NO" (I think that's it) 95% of the time when you land on a ? square and it pops up the "Continue?" "feature?" The same goes for getting "LOSE" right off the bat when you land on a "?"

lol

and I swear that (at least in pub fruity) they advance you one extra spot on the board, just so you land on a ? square. I've noticed that a couple times, but you know how your mind plays tricks on you.
