Not sure if this has ever been done here, but now VBulletin allows you to embed YouTube videos into posts, this has become quite a popular thread on my politics forum. Anyhow I'll kick it off.

Massive Attack - Teardrop - actually listening to the whole album Mezzanine.

Funnily enough when I was 21 in my first IT Job for a record distributor in Bristol, I would often see Daddy G ( Grantley ) at my desk after I returned from work. He went to school with my old boss and would often pop in, blagging free records and photocopying his DJ Sheets - which he would have to send back to the promo companies.

I remember him telling me that he went to world cup final in the US in 1994, bemoaning how much the ticket cost. He omitted to mention the reason they were in the States at the time, was due to them ( Massive Attack ) working with Madonna. What a class down to earth bloke! Plus they are all Bristol City fans too :D

I love Massive Attack and being from my home town got me interested back when they released the excellent Day Dreaming. I have Protection in my car CD right now as it happens. But as for my latest hot toon, it's a chillout number by the little known "Cell" (who I love!):

"One Night in Bangkok" from the musical Chess featuring Murray Head - love that semi classical intro switching to an almost upbeat rap....and that cool jazzy flute halfway through!

Dang, that song brings back some good memories from the eighties when it seemed we partied all the time. That's still a great tune. Thanks for reminding me of that one jetset, I've got the extended version of that song still on vinyl from back in the DJ days..

My pleasure!

I found a remastered and digitised 'golden oldie' CD version of it the other day which I've put onto my iPod - the improvement in sound definition that digital technology brings makes it a really mind-blowing enhancement!

Patty Griffin

If you've never heard of her......take a listen, awesome voice!:thumbsup:

Have to listen to just a little bit of talk before the song.
