I have requested no less than 20 times to remove myself from the Casino Rewards CD mailers/ mail spam. Each time, I am assured I have been removed, yet I still receive their CD's,... today for Yukon Gold. I sent them yet again, another request to remove me and cc'd Yukon Gold.
How can I escalate this? I am soooo frustrated with their disrespectful practices and bogus marketing campaigns!
Thanks for any further advice.

its a never ending nightmare trade, i either have them in my snail mail or email , i just finally threw my hands up and trash them as they come in....................laurie

Those unwanted CD offers make great coasters, can be hung from your Xmas tree for very pretty effects, or cut in two and turned into a nice backdrop in a lighted wall unit.

If you EVER signed up at a casino through an affiliate, that affiliate may have sold your name, and it may have been resold as well. Contest boxes at your local pizzaria or county fair are often largely used to compile mailing lists of people who enter "games of chance" Pretty much pointless to contact CasinoRewards. They are not spending their money on snail mail and CD's if you already have an account with them.

Thanks to Rene

I sent my remove/ complaint email to support@casino rewards.com and manager@yukongoldcasino.eu << this one bounced back to me.
Rene, affiliate from Casino Rewards was the only one who replied (I cc'd my complaint to: Rene, RewardsAffiliates.com; Yaniv, RewardsAffiliates.com; Helene, RewardsAffiliates). Rene wrote the following to me:

"I have directed your complaint to our CEO.
While we are able to control our own lists from casino subscriptions etc, its very hard to control external lists from marketing companies and affiliates.. The best we can do in this case is request removal and punish the external parties if this is not done.
As an affiliate manager I dont tolerate this spam and any affiliate caught not adhering to an unsubscribe is automatically closed by me. That's the assurance I can give you from my end.
Once I get the word back from our CEO that you have been removed from all of our lists, I will let you know.

Cheers

Kindest Regards

Rene
Affiliate Coordinator"

So nice to see someone actually go above and beyond!
In a subsequent email when I asked her if there is some way I can figure out who sends these to me, she wrote the following:
"If they don't have a return address on the envelope, the other thing you can do is install the cd and then go to your registry to see what the bannertag is.. that will help me see where it came from..

If you need help doing this, please feel free to email me and I will send you detailed instructions."

Bravo Rene!! I will post any further updates/ info, if it's helpful to others.

Hi trade thanks for posting this. I also requested to be unsubscribed from casino rewards, got a confirmation but continue to get CDs by mail. this is the latest. Do you have Rene's email address / instructions on how to check the registry and report further? And will installing the CD install spyware? hmmm if they are rogue spammers who knows what's on there.

p.s. in case a casino rewards affiliate manager

is reading this, the return address on the mailing is p.o. box 0700, SK 800 90, Bratislava 090 Slovenka.

You know Bratislava reminds me of the movie Eurotrip. If that address is anything like the movie, well no wonder affiliates are getting desperate to drum up new business.

I got this one today...my roomie was all excited for me, thought there was a card inside.

I'm almost certain I've taken a bonus at Yukon Gold already, which would disqualify me from the promo.

I know I have gotten ones from Blackjack Ballroom and Golden Tiger where I AM a player, that I am not eligle to take.

I suspect that wannabe affliliates sold on some get rich scheme have paid quite a bit for most of us to throw them in the garbage. There are real costs to mailers, as opposed to online spam.

Casino Rewards Spam-a -lot

Hi Jerry Lee,
I got Rene's email address from the Casino Rewards site and going back there, I see they have a <ha ha ha> "anti spam" policy!

I now can't find how I got the email addresses that I found initially. However, on the casinomeister page, you can email or PM her from here: https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/groups/
I don't think Rene has anything to do with the mailers, however she was just reaching out... more than anyone else has done since I first started complaining about this. I will email her and point her to this thread in case she has any further comment.

By the way Bryan, if you read this, under your "Fight on-line spam" link, you have Ryan (Ryan@RewardsAffiliates.com) listed as the point of contact for Casino Rewards and I understand he is no longer there... his email bounces back.

I hope we all see some progress to stop the CD mailers from those of us who have raised our voices in the name of anti-spam... via email or snail mail!
Thanks!!

From SPAM to SCAM

Well, CR have stooped even lower.

Got this today, and this combines casino SPAM with CRIMINAL INTERNET SCAM.

The CRIMINAL part is the fake notification of having "won a cheque for $500". This is from the fake "write a cheque committee". There simply IS NO $500 CHEQUE 100% - 101% CRIMINAL SCAM since what is sdvertised is simply NOT ON OFFER.

In fact, following the instructions to "qualify" reveals this is simply another CR scam, and that in fact CR OWN and RUN the "write a cheque committee", and that the $500 is simply the well known FLASH free play offer introduced by MGS for marketing purposes a couple of years ago.

This is FAR more likely to get the CR domains blocked than their normal spam efforts, since it is a breach of CRIMINAL TRADING LAWS, rather than just "nuisance advertising", as is most spam and junk mail. It will ensure more than ever that ISP's will block even more CR emails, INCLUDING those they send to LOYAL players, and these LOYAL players will think they have been arbitrarily cut off from promotions, and will leave.

CR would be better off looking at their bloated portfolio, as who the hell needs such a huge number of casinos with now NO chance of gaining NEW US players, other countries now starting to introduce prohibition measures, and players in other countries having less and less disposable money.

CR are one of a small number of groups who simply DO NOT LISTEN, as can be seen by their policy of yanking ANY of their employees who are willing listeners to player concerns, and who make this clear by making themeselves available as Renee did.

This spam is NOT from a "rogue affiliate", but from CR THEMSELVES, done through Jangomail, an outlet that will SPAM your product for a fee. CR have CERTAINLY supplied player's email addresses for this purpose, as the SAME outfit seems to have the contract to send out GENUINE promotions and newsletters. It is HIGHLY UNLIKELY that any "wall" between the two parts of the organisation will be honoured, and that the part doing GENUINE promotions seem to have passed over this PRIVILIGED information over to their mass marketing (or spamming) branch to make it even MORE efficient.

Sadly, it is not efficient enough to implement screening for eligibility, and many of these offers come to players who cannot use them.
