Instadebit Question

I made a deposit earlier using Instadebit like I always do but the amount did not register on my balance.
When I went to my Instadebit account, it showed that the debit to Instadebit was successful but the transfer to merchant shows as *initiated*.
My deposits have always been instant and never had this happen before.
Has anyone else had this problem at one point or another?

And of course, as soon as I posted this, it shows up in my account!

I've been having the same problem... usually takes a few days and multiple emails to rectify. Starting to get annoying

This is the first time I've had that problem. Right after I posted I checked the casino and the funds were there, so it took alittle over an hour for it to transfer.
I hope this isn't a sign of things to come because up until tonight I've not had a problem with Instadebit at all.
I appreciate your reply to let me know you've been having some problems with it too :)

I had the same problem a few days ago and it was sorted out by a couple of emails. Never had this happen before and have since made a deposit with no problem.
Hopefully it's just a glitch.

I like Instadebit but find it is so simple to use that it can be very easy to lose control of money - especially when my bank account doesn't show the debit for a few days. I usually just keep a set amount of money in it now.

Same here Dewberry, I have this one account set up especially for my online deposits and only put enough in it to cover whatever amount I'll be using :)
Aside from the little *glitch* with Instadebit last night, I find it to be a stress free way to deposit.

It is very easy to use... I have had an issue with transfers 3 times now I believe. It's never rectified on it's own, I've always had to get info from Instadebit to give to the merchant. It's happened once with moneybookers as well, I think it's just one of those "time out" issues and doesn't mean much.. what I like about Instadebit is they have live help, and they reply to emails pretty quickly. I wait on the casino's far longer than I do Instadebit.

Its happened again just a few minutes ago with another deposit so I'm going to wait about an hour and see if it rectifies itself again this time. Only problem with Instadebit Live Support is that they can't do anything when it comes to certain things and the only way you can contact Security is via email.
Its just a real pain the the behind when deposits were always INSTANT and now they are held up. You were right when you said *annoying*

Yeah, I have a feeling it will keep happening. Seems like a glitch to me that they need to look into. Personally my online gaming days are over for a while as as of this morning I am officially a college student and dirt poor.. lol. Hopefully it all clears up for you guys and they figure out what's going on.. gambler's typically don't have a whole lot of patience.. I know I don't.. lol

I received another email from Instadebit because it happened yet again and they said the delay was on the casino side. When I contacted the casino they said something about the problem being fixed so of course I deposited again. Guess what, problem NOT fixed. Im somewhat glad to hear that its not an Instadebit problem as it clears successfully on their end right away. Im going to do some more checking on it with the casino in a few minutes. Congrats on your now being a college student :)

The last time it happened to me the casino (Lucky Nugget) blamed Instadebit. The other time it happened was at CW and they needed the exact same information from Instadebit to allow the deposit to go through. If the same thing keeps happening at different casino's I really doubt it's the casino's fault and would tend to put the blame on Instadebit. I guess we can pretty much expect to find that deposit methods become harder and harder to use as we are being grouped in with Americans.

Thanks :) Gonna be a long year and I'm sure I'll have gambling withdrawls... thank god for free tournies.. lol

What seems to be happening as I am currently finding out is that, the casino goes to Instadebit and says so and so wants to deposit and Instadebit has to approve or disapprove. The casino isn't getting an answer from Instadebit and it then times out putting the deposit in *pending* or as Instadebit calls it *initiated*. Hopefully it will be corrected soon :)
Hope you have some luck there playing the free tournies....you never know
