has any one tried to make a withdrawl from a casino when using the temporary netspend card? i want to make a withdrawl but i had to reverse it since my permanant card has not arrived yet. it has been 12 days, i was told 7 to 10 days. i assume when i fax in the forms and documents that the casino requires i would need the permanent card as it has my name on it where as the temporary one does not. i have not been told by the casino that the temporary card is not good enough but it does not carry my name so i thought it would be questiond and would only delay a payout.

Well... If you are afraid that the Routing Number is wrong, then you wouldn't want to pass this to your employer.

So, the routing number is actually correct (the one given for PayPal).

i don't think anyone has questioned if the number is correct, the question is if it is possible to use that routing number to move money directly from a casino to the netspend card.

i called them but they're only in during the day shift. i just e-mailed them so we'll see how long it takes for an answer?

Dear Cardholder,

Thank you for contacting NetSpend customer care regarding your account.

For your convenience, we also now accept ACH bank transfers. ACH (Automated Clearing House) transfers are not immediate, and they are sometimes referred to as "scheduled" transfers. Please note that these are ACH transfer and NOT WIRE TRANSFERS (in which we do not accept); an ACH transfer may take 2 to 3 days to be processed. NetSpend processes the funds into your account as soon as we receive the transfer. There is no charge for these transfers. To initiate an ACH transfer, first locate you NetSpend Cards account and routing number by clicking on Bank Transfers online or contacting us at the number listed below. Once you have this information, contact your bank and request an ACH transfer from your checking account to your NetSpend account. Please note that not all banks process ACH transfer so please contact your bank to verify if they have the ability to do so.

You may use your NetSpend account number and routing number to send funds via ACH transfer to your NetSpend account. However, this transaction will not work in reverse. Attempts by any merchants to withdraw funds from your NetSpend account in this manner will be rejected and returned unpaid. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.

These are the ATM withdraw limits:

Maximum amount you may withdraw from an ATM within a 24-hour period: $940.00

Maximum amount you may withdraw from an ATM, per transaction: $420.00.

Maximum number of ATM transactions you may make within a 24-hour period: 6

Maximum number of unsuccessful PIN-based transactions within a 24-hour period: 3

Credit or Debit Purchase Limit:

Maximum amount you may purchase within a 24-hour period: $5,000.00

Maximum number of credit/debit transactions within a 24-hour period: 15

If you exceed any of these limits, your account may be temporarily blocked.

The reload pack is a product we will soon be offering that will enable deposits into an account without using the permanent card. Accountholders and non-account holders alike will be able to purchase this product for a small fee, make a deposit onto this card, and then have the funds from this reload pack transferred into any NetSpend account of their choice either online or via phone.

If there is anything else we can do to assist you, please do not hesitate to contact us via email or call customer service at 1-86-NetSpend (1-866-387-7363).

To help us provide the best possible service in the future, please include your reference number or username in order to locate your account and all prior correspondence in regards to your inquiry.

Thank you for choosing NetSpend.

It took them less than 24 hours to reply to my email.

huh? How else would an ACH withdraw take place? ACH is bank > bank. There is no other option. Paypal sends it from their bank. There's nothing "Special" about it them accepting loads from your "paypal" account. How do you think Paypal sends your withdraw to your bank? ACH. How do they make the 2 micro deposits to confirm your account? ACH.

I think the CSR that sent you that email didn't know wtf they were talking about ;)

At my last job, I had my check direct deposited to my Netspend card. It was always there (actually it was posted 2 days before everyone else's payday of friday...go figure ;) ), without a hitch. I just had to give my employer their routing number and account number, simple as that. There's no reason it wouldn't work for any other ACH transfer.

Ya know, I used to think I didn't get confused so easily but maybe I am just getting old here or something but with all the options closing down (neteller, click2pay *no withdrawal button) can you withdraw to a Netspend card or not? I mean has anyone done it and how so? By registering it as a credit card and taking the withdrawal that way or do you do a ACH transfer to the card setting it up as the bank?

So basically what I am asking here because all the different posts and threads have confused the heck out of me, Has anyone been able to withdraw to a Netspend all access card yet and if so, how? Thanks in advance :).

You don't even treat it as a debit card when you go to withdraw. Simply ask for an ACH withdraw, and give them the Netspend routing number and your Netspend account number (NOT the card number!)

PS: The bank name is "Inter National Bank"

Thank you so very much, you have been a big help. I just didn't want to see my cash get stuck in click2pay, already have over 2 grand stuck in neteller lol.

I got the impression it boiled down to metabank... USA, help me?

I used to cashout via ACH to my Netspend MasterCard all the time but haven't tried it in the past month (haven't deposited/haven't wanted to risk being unable to get my winnings).

To confirm what was said above, the bank is Inter National Bank. It is a brick and mortar bank in Texas, so if the form asks for a phone number and address, find it at their web site (I used one of the branches in Austin, TX.)

I believe the routing number is different depending on the actual card you've received. Look at the back of your card to confirm the bank name. When you log into your account on netspend.com, click on the Paypal Transfers menu option and you'll see your routing number***, account number and other info for ACH (note that it actually didn't work for a Paypal transfer the few times I tried it!)

*** I just looked at the Metabank picture and the routing number I use is not the same. So it appears there may be more than one bank for Netspend account users.

I hope you are successful with your withdrawal.

p.s. I also have my paycheck direct deposited as well as some other non-gambling deposits and have never had a problem with them.
