Crazy Vegas - What NOT to expect from them

Just wanted to share with you all that over the past week I've been playing at Crazy Vegas and deposited roughly 3700.00 USD over the course of that time. I had noticed during all the mass deposits I was making I wasn't receiving any bonuses during that time.

I sent a letter to their support asking what's up and they responded quickly.

They let me know that since I was using Citadel as my deposit method I wasn't qualified to receive a bonus. Had I used one of their preferred methods I would've received 15%. So, the math is 555.00 if I'm not mistaken I would've received in bonuses.

They gave me a 50.00 bonus as an act of "good faith".
Hmm.. Mr. Customer you COULD have had 555.00, but you're important to us so here is 50 bucks.

While I know the practice of rewarding players for using preferred deposit methods is standard in the online gaming industry, this illustrates what is NOT standard... player retention and rewards for heavy play.

It doesn't exist at Crazy Vegas. So FYI, the only bonuses you are going to see there are promotions and deposit method percentages with the obvious WR. Expect nothing for dedicated play.

This isn't sour grapes, but it's important to share with everyone what casinos reward those who play & deposit heavily.

Not to sound rude here but I don't see how this should reflect in a negative manner towards Crazy Vegas at all. As you said yourself, you made a "mass" number of deposits and didn't receive a bonus. If you expected a deposit bonus it is plain as day on the banking page that Citadel does not carry a bonus with it as a deposit method but you kept depositting with it anyway. They gave you $50.00 because of your own mistake, a lot of other places would not have given you anything at all.

I think you're misunderstanding the point behind my post, which is probably my fault so I'll explain...

I totally understand your point. In all reality I agree I'm entitled to absolutely nothing.

However, this really has not so much to do with deposit bonuses. This has more to do with depositing 3700.00 and eventually losing that amount as a new player, wagering (guessing) 15X that amount and withdrawing nothing... Then when inquiring you are told essentially your play was worth 50 bucks. Am I devastated by this news? Of course not.. you're right the banking page clearly says no deposit bonuses on Citadel.

My point is merely this: If you deposit 3700.00 somewhere, play, lose, and withdraw nothing, your deposit method should carry less weight is all I'm merely commenting on.

I shared my humble opinion here for no reason other than to communicate to everyone my experience. If it's helpful to someone here than that makes me feel like I've made contribution on a forum which has given so much back to me.

Hi Milemaster.

Sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction with Crazy Vegas.

However, there are reasons for Citadel not having an ongoing bonus system such as the one for Neteller purchases.

We have in recent times had quite a bit of fraudulent activity from Citadel purchases (I am not at all implying that you intend to do the same), and therefore we decided to drop the bonuses there altogether in order to incentivise players to rather use on of our other available methods.

You have noted that you made quite a large sum of deposits over the last week. I'd like to mention that in the first period, the play pattern for a potential VIP, and a potential fraudster are extremely similar. Once again, I'm not at all saying that you were / are / intended to be a fraudster, but I'm merely trying to explain as to why we have set procedures regarding bonuses etc.

If you send me your account number via PM, I can take a look at your account, and see what I can do for you.

Once again, I apologize, and I hope we can sort something out.

Regards
Schalk
