I didn't see this anywhere else on the board. Sadly, nobody will likely be surprised.

"PLEASE NOTE: PLAYERS FROM THE UNITED STATES WILL NO LONGER BE ABLE TO RECEIVE ANY BONUSES. "

Still willing to take our money for a little while...but no more loyalty bonus. Thanks!

Well, I am surprised. Does this mean that there are plenty of US players abusing their bonuses? If not, then they could ban US players if they think legislation is going to be passed. It would seem that they know that there are more and more casinos that do not accept US players and that given the limited choice, some US players would still patronize intercasino without a bonus. Sheesh!

US players may be banned in the near future, so they stopped giving free $ to maintain the players' longterm loyalty.

Shouldnt this be the other way around. They should continue with the bonuses to reward loyal players through thick and thin. Discontinuation of bonuses at this juncture smacks of taking advantage of the situation to squeeze as much out of the players as possible especially those who still want to have a flutter but are finding reputable casinos who will accept their business increasingly hard to come by.

Well, they don't want us anymore so I took the bonus and ran this month. They were very generous over the years, but I can take a hint.

no bonus intercasino-poor communication

I tried to claim the bonus EARLY 10/1/06. I kept getting an error message that said nothing about the ban on US players. I finally phoned support and was told no bonuses for US players. I asked at what time they posted the notice and was told 5 hours ago which would have been 9:35p.m. CST US. Oct. 1

I had already been playing on the web site prior to the notice being posted on the casino web page. There was no notice posted in the casino software.

I have played at the casino over 1 year. Rarely have claimed the bonus, maybe once.

I asked if I would still be receiving comp points they did not know . They promised to email me an answer in 2 hours. SO BEWARE if you are counting on that extra money once a month to help cover losses!

Also, I asked what prompted the ban. Support replied they were not at liberty to say. WHY NOT????? Maybe Casinomeister knows. He handles the casinos Disputes. Was he notified prior to Oct 1?

I don't think they handled this very well. Perhaps it would have been better to notify players that October was the last month we would get bonuses. Unless, they are planning to ban play totally. In that case, the bonus should be banned at that time. They are still letting us play so they can make money up until the point we can no longer legally play but don't want to reward us for past loyalty. I am giving them no further money.

No, I wasn't aware of this change until now. It's a shame that this seems to be "knee-jerkish" - but maybe they don't want to appear to be enticing US based players. That's merely a guess. I play there often, rarely take the bonus (only the old automated monthly one), and do fairly well. Some players need to see beyond the "bonus" thing - you are free to play what you want, how you want, and when you want. For some of you, perhaps this is a good thing. :D

But for others it's a shame. Maybe there are other ways that the casino plans to reward loyalty, coupons for movie tickets, Amazon.com, free cable, etc. I don't know.

I assume they didn't want to give US players bonuses and then have those players not be allowed to play to meet the wagering requirements.

Apparently US players are no longer going to be permitted at Crypto sites starting tomorrow.
