People should stop playing at casinos

I was under the impression that the majority of online casinos have wagering requirements on their comp points. I've certainly seen a lot of them that do.

I know firsthand that Bodog has no such restrictions.

Yeah me too. Crypto's aside. But all MG ones have a WR don't they?

No, I did not know of any MG that had a WR on comp points until I read in this thread that 32Red has.

Neat trap

It's a neat trap for the rogues to use too (in a denial of cash-out kind of way). The terms for wagering or not of comps are vague. Usually, the terms relate to "free money" needing to be wagered, but do not specifically define whether comps fall into this category.
32Red specifically states that the 4x WR applies to the Red Rubies (comps), and as they are for Club Rouge members this may well be waived except in the worst cases of, say, saving up tens of thousands of them and not playing a single bet. There appear to be no game restrictions on this 4x either.
Casino Rewards are the worst, comps are treated just like bonuses, and enter the EZBonus system where they need to be wagered 30x on slots. Effectively, the comps are pretty worthless in their own right, they are just for a bit of extra play and the hope of a big hit.

This WR attached to comp points has always stuck in my craw. You wager a gazillion dollars at a casino. You earn (maybe) $10 worth of comps. Then you also have to wager that $10 you earned another gazillion times on slots.... At least I'm not the only one that thinks that's ridiculous.

Not all MG casinos have wagering requirements on their loyalty points. I have tried many times to find the information in Terms & Conditions, or on the pages describing each casino (or casino groups) loyalty program but wasn't successful. There are a few that I know about (maybe someone can create a list?)... Fortune Lounge does have requirements (not sure what the amount is), Spin Palace does not (so I assume their sister casinos also do not). Those are the only ones I know (though I play at many others.. just never had more than $10 to cash out so didn't really care).

I play a lot at Trident Lounge - it's my favorite. Last month I recieved e-mail that I have 48 loyalty points but I have to wager - there was a long list of W/R, the 'cheapest' was slots W/R, so of course I busted out in no time. I was very dissapointed with Trident Lounge - under 'loaylty bonus' I understand something else... For example, Inetbet gives me from time to time a small 'manager bonus' - $7 but no strings attached. The same does CON and Harrods. It seems to me the casinos are getting so greedy that makes no fun any more. It's ridiculous to have to work for a 'loaylty points'

I do not see what is wrong with putting a WR on comp points. It is not like you got the comp points for making a deposit. You got them for your playthrough. So the better a casinos win percentage is for the player the more comp points you will accumulate. If a game has 99% payback than when you add the comp points in, it is actually a negative expectation game for the casino, so if the casino puts requirements of that money, it is theirs to do so.

I AGREE 100% I had over $500 in comp points and lost time because I had to wager them on some silly slot game. I will not fug with Casino Rewards again. I swear to GOD I will not!!!

Shut the Hail up! If I go to a GD real casino I can use my comp points for cashback, free food, free hotel, free whatever with no strings attach. Either act like a real casino or get the fug out the business. I am sick of you scumbags

I happen to disagree too, but this is not the way to express your opinion.

Your arithmetic is off. The common rate for comp points is 0.1%, so the comps only increase the payout from 99% to 99.1%. Of course, ultimately it is the casino's business decision to impose WR on comps, but the players have already wagered the amount of comps 1000 times, so making them wager it 10 more times is not going to provide much additional profit to the casino, but it can certainly irritate players.

Some RTGs award comp points as phantom bonus with WR, this is really the worst, if the player has enough money in his account, then the value of this bonus is 0.

99% + .1% < 100%
