Firstly, I would like to thank Brian for his generosity in offering this Award. It's a win/win situation for the nominees and the charities involved.

Secondly, I appreciate the nominations from Pina, Lauriejim and Mercy.

But I have a suggestion. Why not offer a period for nominations? Nominate as many as you feel worthy of consideration. Then close nominations, and offer a voting period, one vote per member.

I totally agree Jasmine, that's the way it should be so no one is able to cancel out their own vote or it could be set up to where each forum member can only vote for one post per two week period and if they see one toward the end of the two week period that is better than the first one they voted for then they would have to remove their nomination of the first in order to vote for the latter...
