Okay, I think I've broken something. My previous post is showing up as post #10 in this thread, but on page 1. It shows two pages to the thread, yet when I click on page 2, I get taken back to page one.

Is Vortran drinking again?

Edit: Okay, now I'm on page two. Duh!! Funny, I don't remember drinking anything tonight besides Dr. Pepper.

I found this post on "Why is poker dominated by males?" interesting and have nominated it accordingly for "Best Posting Award Of The Fortnight 20, Week 46, November, 2008"

I'm starting to figure this out: when you "nominate" a post, it's added to this poll (which is closed by the way) and the nominations are tallied up through there. As an observer, you can click on the hyperlink in the poll which will take you to the nominated poll. There you can nominate it as well - and it counts your vote here in the poll.

At the end of the 14 days - the thread is automatically closed and the awardees are listed. Pretty cool - if it works

So are you saying that there can only be four nominations every two weeks or in each poll ??

No - the poll is closed as in you can't access it from this thread, but if you go to any post in the "meaty" parts of the forum (Online Casinos, Online Casino Complaints etc.) you can add to this poll by nominating posts. This is like your vote. You can "vote" on any posts by clicking the "nominate" button on the lower right hand side of each post.

I think "nominate" and "vote" are being confused - perhaps I'll change this.

Try "voting" on some threads that have already been nominated and perhaps you'll see how this works.

It automaically posted the above post here and listed the post in the poll. Now if you felt as though this is worthy of a Post of the Week whatever, then you can go to that post and nominate it as well, and the poll tallies the "votes".
