    Wired Plastic

    Hi all.
I made a deposit as I usually do on my wired plastic prepaid card.
Ive made over 300 of em in the last few months.
It usually takes 3/5 minutes for the money to show on my account.
The deposits, I forgot to tell you, are made thru western union.
Today, as usual, Ive made a deposit and strangely 2 hours later it wasnt posted on my c/c account.
I called for the first time Wired plastic and I was told to wait 30 minutes..........ok it seems reasonable, although Ive never waited more than 5 mnts.
45 minutes later I called again WP and this time Im told to wait 1 hour........strange but still okay.
1 hour later I ve called again and the 3th CS told me it could take up to 24 hours.
I said.......listen guys I make a daily deposit and have never wait longer than 5 minutes.
The very unpolite girl kept saying 24 hours.
So I called Western Union which was the entity who supposely had my money hostage.
They gave me a check number that was paid to wired plastic just 2 minutes after my deposit.
At this point I called back wiredplastic , I gave em the check number and the answer was to wait up to 48 hours...................lol.
The funniest part of this wired plastic "shit" is................Ive been charged $3.95 for the WU wire and $0.95 for every time Ive called em(wired plastic) asking where my money was.
I assume, after this little story, you guys need no advices.

You need to check the Western Union site and see if the money has been picked up yet. If it has... then present the details to Wired Plastic of the reference number, date, and time of pick-up. If it hasn't been picked up.. then cancel the transfer and get your money back. If you've already done that, then I don't know what to tell you. All I know is that I use the same card, and it's never failed to show up in my account before I even get back home.

I did all that.I also gave WP the check number they received from WU and they did admit to receive it..........they just cant find the money........lol.
WU after my legitimate complain told me I would get a check for $3.95 as nice gesture.
Wired P , instead, kept charging me 95 cents for each phone call I made to them.I should be credited today thou.Hopefully.
I never had problems either untill now........it seems when something happens its difficult for them to solve it.
    Thanks thou for the help.
    Merry Xmas

Guess what's just as (or even more) frustrating than that?? I also have a Wired Plastic account (which by the way u can also use MoneyGram or Direct Dep. in lieu of Western Union). For awhile (and this happened 2 different "sets" of times)...they would "double-post" transactions. Meaning, if I used it to deposit $50 at a casino, this would post twice! So if I had only $100 on the card, my balance was reading zero!!

This was so frustrating...If I called Wired Plastic they would tell me I have to get the merchant to fax or call, or simply wait (it used to be 15 days..I think they got it down to 3-4 days), and it would "drop off". If I called the merchant, they had a hard time understanding, and some would say..basically, "we're not taking nothing off..cuz we only actually got $50 from the card". Finally I reached an operator at Wired Plastic that had some sense...(or it happened so much to other people they were "trained" about what the problem was).

But talk about pulling your hair out...Wired Plastic is very difficult to reach via direct email (they have an email "platform" on their site..but they aren't always the promptest people in the world), or you can try to call. Either way it drove me nuts. I haven't had any problems lately, and its so great other than these frustrating occasional annoyances...
