I'm here, as I've always been in any state of mind. i welcome any clear challenge, because I respect you.

Let's recap briefly here:

Tim is looking for somewhere to post some non-gambling material in the absence of Wild Cards.

I inform him that an alternative and independent site for this type of material has been posted about by Babs and Lojo. Trying to be helpful (which I doubt I will try to do again LOL!)

Lojo informs that he presented 'an option' presumably no longer applicable.

I suggest that was not made clear and that Tim needs to be assisted to find the new site.

Lojo then goes wingnuts on me with comments like:

"Tim can connect wherever he damn well pleases, Brian, I was just saying my option closed almost as soon as it opened. Tim5NY, or any other Wild Card is welcome to explore their wild side on the freaking internet."

Comment: I have no ambitions to control Tim's Internet activities.

"Count your actual personal contributions over the last year. I've seen some good one's but they are few and far between. Your knack for the news is undisputable, and i respect that. But to ask tim to 'be real' in your judgement is the same as asking you to throw all you've worked for out the window and be a Wildcard."

Comment: Irrelevant and unnecessarily and personally critical - that personal antipathy could have been communicated by PM. Don't understand the final sentence at all....and there was no "judgement" on my part.

"As far as I know, you aren't capable of determing whether any of us are insane or not... so you best leave that to a wildcard:

JUDGEMENT: TIM, YOU ARE COOOOOORAAAZEEEE"

Comment: Well, um....OK - if you say so!

"If you think a person needs 'help' please do it in a PM, shame is not okay by me."

Comment: The implication appears to be that I have judged Tim in some way and found him wanting (totally untrue)

"With all due respect, Jetset (Brian) the WildCards can moderate themselves"

Comment: There was no 'respect' in that post, particularly as I have absolutely no desire now or at any time to play the role of moderator in Wild Cards.

I will say that I agree with other posters here who felt that WC had spun out of control and needed reining in by Casinomeister, but that is a personal opinion to which I am entitled, and have already voiced.

Well, that was a totally unnecessary interchange I had with Jetset. I'm pretty embarassed about that, he was trying to be helpful and I read it all wrong and got defensive and stupid on him. Geez.

I'm going to catch up on a few posts and then I'm going to take a week or so off. This place is far too important for me to be blathering on like that.

No need to respond, Brian, but I sincerely apologize if you were offended.
