    Just curious....

Has anyone ever been inside one of these "enterprises" and if so can they please describe it. Often sit here trying to figure just whats at the other end.....often I picture a bunch of rather anaemic looking IT types with brogues and pocket protectors sitting in a monitor lit room muttering to themselves "oh no you don"t" as they tweak the switch. Thats on a good day! At other times I picture the same scenario, only the inhabitants look like something out of the Godfather, cranking the switch and saying "ya gotta be kidding! Seriously how large are their premises, how many staff etc. and do all of the grouped casinos work out of the same place?

    This is a good question.

Many of these casinos try to make themselves sound like a big fancy operation, but I bet that they're only a little tiny office in a strip mall someplace, at best.

OTOH, I'd say that some of the bigger online casinos that come to mind probably do have large, well run operations. Maybe Casinomeister will comment on this.

As I recall, Bryan has at least visited the Slotland Casino headquarters.. and he mentioned that it was a very impressive and professional layout. Perhaps he'll drop in and comment more on it.

I've been to a number of places: Partner Logic, IncomeAccess, Pokerroom.com, Slotland, Microgaming, and Trident Lounge. They are all pretty much what you would expect out of a high profile IT company - typical high tech layout, clean with cubicles and busy people. Most employees are younger than me and the operators about my age or older (if that tells you anything ). I haven't seen any "Royal Flush" or "take down" switches. Pokerroom.com's and Partner Logic's were the most impressive - they had just moved into new offices which were really nice.

I've been invited to many more places - in the Caribbean, Australia, South Africa, but my time is hard to divy up. I have a lot to do right here.

I still owe Ed Ware a visit at 32Red. He's been wanting me to come down there since last year. I'll be heading down there one of these days
