Wow what a right mess, Signed up to erou slots as promised 20 spins on sign up, another 30 spins on deposit with 150% bonus,
Surpize suprize, after talking to live help

Simon: Thank you, I am afraid the affiliate is offering an incorrect welcome bonus unfortunately, as we do not offer any spins upon registration nor do we offer 150% deposit bonuses. What we do offer is a 100% deposit bonus which you may take part of.

Thank you the pog, Im getting annoyed with these affiliates now not getting what promised, Only the other day KK offered a wrong sign up but instantly changed when he was noticed, and he replyed instant to me (cheers my friend)

But they have got to be on the ball, Im in the middle building a website my self, I would nether let bonus expire and will be always be on top, fair dues that casino can change there bonus at time and not tell affiliates but that's when you get people to check for you, There is not really an excuse as I sent an email to pog 3 days ago and no reply, Only today I find out about bonus not good after speaking to live help
Should be fined or took of the program, wheres the rules when it comes to lying to people about spending there hard earn cash,

Sorry for the moan but something got to be done

IN fairness to affiliates, there isn't much they can do if the casino doesn't inform them that the deal has changed.

In many cases, affys make their own arrangements with the casinos. You can hardly blame them for the casino reneging on the offer.

You should be pointing the finger at the casino. Unless of course the affiliate WAS notified and didn't make the change, in which case they should be held to account. Part of being a responsible affiliate is keeping your site up to date consistently.

I said this in your other thread, casinos change. They change offers, they change owners, they change licensing jurisdiction and so forth and some programs feel the need to never tell there affiliates. Even Bryan (Casinomeister) gets caught out in these things you know.

Good luck with your site but I will guarantee you one thing, you may go a little bit easier on these affiliates you are having a go at after a while of running your own site, I guarantee you will have some sort of wrong information up there at one point or another.

I think also a small email or pm to ThePogg (who mind you is one of the good guys in this business and always has his players come first) to let him know of the situation would have been a much better thing to do, he can then contact the casino in question and find out what is going on.

if this was to be seen as actual profession/company they might be required mores strictly to update their offered promotions, but as most affiliates, myself included, have another primary source of income, and most work hard and have their families to tend to, are players themselves and have maybe a wee bit of a social live: i'd say notify them, without making a fuss about it, as most affiliates have a contact form, use it to let them rectify it:

I'll give you an example, i signed up through one of rainmakers links for a casino which name i can't recall, but the jest of it was i could not play the games i expected to be able to play: sent rainy a p.m., and not only did he swiftly update things, he also fixed me up with the correct offer.

I am sure most guys here will go out of their way to assist you.

The POGG appears to be someone who wants his name to be worth something, and i am sure if you had contacted him he would have fixed things for you.

I do agree it is irritating to get outdated offers, have had a few in the past: my advice therefore is, if you want to support the affiliate (or if your looking for a little extra in terms of an exclusive bonus) use their link to not immediately sign up, but open live chat instead, and ask for eligibility and validity.

No One is lying here, were not scumbag affiliates and spammers, at least not that i know off
I probably have some outdated info as well, even though my site is not that big.

EDIT
I see Matt and Nifty have both replied with similar remarks while i was typing:)

I agree with that statement 100%. I have checked out many of the affiliate sites of the members here and they all run top notch sites. I don't know The Pogg but I can say his site is very nice and does seem to be very player driven. It's a good idea when signing up through an affiliate to check with casino cs before you deposit to make sure the offer is still valid. If it's not you can contact the affiliate to let them know. This way you avoid hassles. That's what I would do anyway.

P.S. Increiblestuff I checked out your site a couple of weeks ago and I liked it very much. It has a very clean look. Other sites tend to be cluttered and yours is not so kudos to you!

It goes something like this:

Affiliate manager: "You are running in invalid offer on your site."
Affiliate: "Sorry but I never knew it had changed."
Affiliate manager: But we sent an email out three weeks ago."
Affiliate: "I have looked but have no such email on record, please can you send it again? I am sorry but if you cannot produce the email you have to honour the deal for this player."

This is usually followed by a deathly silence.

In our experience it is by far the exception more than the rule for programs to inform affiliates of discontinued offers. We try to make sure we are up to date but it will never be an exact science. We will fight for a deal to be honoured but some programs just won't give an inch.

Ah yes I remember.

It must have been well over at year ago when I was running a €5 free for signing up at Paf Casino, but the free money was not available to use on NetEnt games which also came as a surprise to me hehe!

I decided to remove it a few days after that anyway as it was being heavily abused. One player opened like 30 accounts on the same day etc :D

How much of your hard earned cash did you lose trying to use this offer?

Does The POGG have a history of doing this sort of thing on a regular basis?

Seems kinda harsh calling the man a liar and suggesting he should be fined and kicked to the curb.

maybe common sense should have been used here....

why not speak to live chat first before depositing?

Hi Spintee,

Sorry to hear about that. I've sent you a PM to verify some details with you.

I don't know The Pogg personally, but I have personally found his site invaluable as a player. He is also the reason I discovered this site which I am obviously wrapped about.

I too actually signed up to Euroslots through his site based on the exclusive offer he advertised. After depositing and playing there, I actually forgot about the offer, so never took the free spins I was suppose to be entitled to. I voiced my disappointment with Euroslots in another thread, and closed my account as a result of the poor technical difficulties I experienced there. Fredrik assured me twice he would look into it all some time ago, but not surprisingly I guess, I have yet to hear anything back. Considering your experience, it would seem trying to get the free spins would have been another stressful issue I could do without, so closing my account would seem to be the right option.

Regardless, The Pogg would get a free pass in my book, as his site's information, for the most part, has helped me make informed decisions on which sites can be trusted, and which terms need to be closely monitored. There aren't many affiliate sites out there that go to that type of effort to ensure player safety comes first. Human error is always a risk, and I think affiliate sites should be used as a guide only, and we players also have a responsibility to investigate offers and terms further. In saying that, if the affiliate advertises an exclusive deal, and that casino is listed as one of their top sites, then the affiliate also has the responsibility of ensuring the offer is up to date and still readily available.

I trust The Pogg, and thank him or her for their helpful advice, and feel confident that he/she will endeavor to right any wrongs if approached in the right manner.

Spintee, from one newbie to another, the first thing I learnt from this site, is that you should try to resolve any issues via PM before airing your concerns publicly. If the other party then ignores your advances, then you have every right to make your concerns public. I'll keep my thoughts on Euroslots to myself, but I think The Pogg has enough brownie points built up to get a free pass on this one. By free pass I of course mean the opportunity to fix the issue before being burnt at the stake. ;)

If you are looking for an alternative to Euroslots, try Guts, Tropezia, Betat, Next Casino or Casino Luck. All great sites with no hidden terms or back peddling on offers.

Very well said my friend, I have nothing against the pog, In fact I can count on 1 hand how many sites I sign up from, I might of been abit rude when first posted but trust me I am not here to offend any person, Nor knock all the hard work they do to get sites up and running, But this is not the 1st time or not going to be the last where players have not got what promised,

I did message the pogg on hes own site but did not get a response, Also Fredik has sent me a private message saying the offer is available and the pogs info is correct but said that my user name was not attached to an affiliate? I cannot see how not as far as I can see I have nether visit the site b4, Even so he said the cs who I spoke to was wrong and will look into it,
I really do not like moaning, If I do come across any promos and turns out to be bogus or nobody does not no the score than I like to share my opinion, This is what I thought the site was all about,

To be fair just to show a point a signed up to hippodrome other day as seen adverts on tv saying free 10, I signed up threw a site saying 20 feee spins on gold factory, I thought 20 spins at full lines 50p =£10, Only to find out that only got 10 lines x 20 spins thats £2, In all fairness its not the affliates fault as did not mention how many lines but after speaking to 2 people on live help the 1st did not have a clue, They even said about I did not sign up threw affliate, But they stuck the free spins in, After keep seeing the advert i went back and said about the 10 free and bang, They put it straight in, Low it did come with a staggering 99x turn over :)

Im not rich and do not go looking for freebies but when you see an offer you would of thought you get it, I do normally ask live chat about any bonus but as I said alot of them do not no them self, there to make you deposit (my thoughts only) and even so Fredrik said that the bonus is live? But the host did not no anythink about it, I even showed them the link, now if this is the case what chance have we got,
Any I wish every 1 good luck, I have not lost nothing this weekend but not really gained anythink either, mg has been good to me:) about even for once,

What a coincidence!! I publicly mention the lack of response from Euroslots, and bam!! Private message in inbox, lol. Amazing! Thanks Fredrik, but your response only confirms I made the correct decision to close my account, as sadly, I found your explanation to be a total contradiction to your last contact on the 17/04/2014, an interaction I also had to initiate after not hearing from you on the first occasion.

For anyone interested, I will describe the matter in more detail in a relevant Euroslots thread. The short of it here is, there are far better options out there, and close to two weeks to respond to a customer, just doesn't cut it. Especially when it was regarding pre-existing issues. Disappointing to waste my money on such a terrible experience, but hopefully I can help others from making the same mistake. Just goes to show why the best are the best, because regardless of how many new sites you try, you always seem to end up going back to the Guts and Betats of the world, because customer service is superior from CS to the reps on here. It would seem by this thread alone, Euroslots are struggling on both fronts.

When you clicked the link on the affy's site, did you end up on a special landing page showing the special bonus terms?
Did you learn about the actual terms only after you have made your deposit?

I think this thread should be aimed at Euroslots and not the affiliate the pogg. I was also informed by cs that it was only a 100% deposit match after registering via the pogg, and entering THEPOGG30 code on sign-up, or something like that. My immediate impression is that I'm more inclined to trusting the pogg in this situation, and Euroslots are the one's moving the goal posts on unsuspecting customers. This whole situation stinks to me, and coupled with the contradictory advice I received, I can no longer believe anything coming out of Euroslots.

@Spintee: if you ask me, the case is resolved. I explained to you in PM what happened and I've spoken to the CS agent who informed you that the bonus was not valid which was unfortunate.
Your account was now tagged properly as it came through with no affiliate tag, the affiliate team has been informed to contact ThePogg to ensure the tracking works correctly and the bonus on registration was credited to your account.

If you have any other questions feel free to fire away.

In that case Fredrik, seeing as I too signed up via the pogg, if I reopen my account, will there be 50 free spins, and the missing 50% of a supposed 150% deposit match, waiting for me? I'll hold my breath starting now, and we'll see if you can come good on that offer before I drop dead.

I was not under the impression, nor saw any internal communication about missing freespins/bonus offers from ThePogg when I checked.
But if you claim you signed up through them, I'll make sure that you get the bonuses :)

Keep in mind that a cool down period of 7 days will apply in all cases where the account was locked on customers request. Should you wish to unlock the account, please let me know and I'll take a note and make sure to credit the bonuses once the account is active again.

Fredrik
