I got this email today from Royal vegas.

I find this hard to believe?

Thoughts?

Six-figure wins are normally used by the operators to garner publicity, so I would expect at least one of those big wins to have been bragged about in a press release at some stage; I can't immediately recall one on MatthewC like the $463,425 hit, but I may just have missed it.

Those are just individual wins on certain dates. We don't know how much that guy plays, how high are his bets etc. Despite all of those individual big wins, he could still be on red or just slightly up.

Its not hard to win that much in dribs and drabs added up over the day while playing big stakes but you will have to be abit lucky to get them hits in 1 spin, Also is that there profit? The person could still be down,
Did the email come from them? Could be a dodgy aflliate trying to get you to sign up

Even if the winning data in this email-ad is correct, it can only be a list of cumulative winnings in certain winning sessions of a highroller and has nothing to do with real winnings that were withdrawn out of the casino.

Is it any different to how 32red post on twitter the amount they paid out the previous day?

The £3.7 million they claim is probably just an accumulation of all withdrawals that were processed that day, not neccessarly "winnings" as they claim.

It you go to the Royal Vegas website...xxxhttp://www.royalvegascasino.com/getting-started/winners/ and click on recent big wins you will find Matthew C listed for winning €322k+ on tombraider. This doesn't prove anything other than that it is listed somewhere other than email.

That is probably just cumulative counting of the good days or individual big wins, not him actually being up by that much, which would make this somewhat questionable marketing.

Some promotions are slightly misleading for instance the promotions from casinos mention the new slot Avalon 2 of having a jackpot of £120,000.
Even 32red have a tv advert out just now and mention the Avalon 2 "with a jackpot over £100,000".

It is true Avalon 2 you can win £120k but only if your doing £15 spins and the billions to one odds of 5 wild reel land in your favour.

You will notice that he won on games with high bet limits and was betting at max bet.

However, the wording in the mail is incorrect and should have read "won" instead of "pocketed". There is clearly a difference between the two and we regret that it may have created the impression that we were trying to mislead anyone.

This was a genuine mistake and we sincerely apologise for the impression it created.
