Hey guys,

Can someone tell me as bit more about the WMS slots range?
I am playing them now since a few months and I tend to like them but I find them very hard to figure out in relation to RTP,volatility and the average amount of spins it takes to trigger a bonus round.

For example I had a few nice hits on Bierhaus and Ruby Slippers (on bet 365 a 350x bet win on €0.90 spin after just 2 spins on the bubble bonus with 3 wild lines).
Also free spins on these seem to trigger within a reasonable rate.

Now here is the other side,I have played Zeus and Kronos quit a bit lately and haven't triggered free spins in several 100's of spins on both of them...Kronos keeps throwing 2 scatters at me but refuses to give me a third. :D
Are these different from above slots as I know WMS has different types of slots like the G+ series.

Just trying to figure them out, offcourse best way is to play them which I do but maybe there are some veteran WMS slots players around here that can throw in a few tricks and tips.
I bet mostly between €0.60 and €1.20 a spin on WMS slots as I am reluctant to bet higher as I don't know really what the hit potential on these are for moderate to big wins.

Cheers guys,

Mark.

I really really like WMS slots but of course aussies cant play them because Australia sucks.

I'd rate Kronos and Zeus as high variance. Match up five Kronos symbols and your in the money. Stacked Zeus symbols can come up in droves. I've won big on both these games.

My favorites are Magic Wand and Jungle Wild (both are clones). I hit five wilds on Magic Wand relatively easy. The features very difficult to hit though since your gauranteed two reels wild on each free spin along with stacked wilds.

I'm the same though I do find it difficult to tell what the variance on WMS slots are. But you will know once you get a nice win.

With the softwares Oz is stuck with I've converted to live blackjack.

I'll come back and update this post with more info later today but I've logged the RTP and rough idea of the variance of all the WMS games.

(Kronos and Zeus are on the high side of medium btw)

I assume the higher up the higher the volatility is? :D
So all the games I like as usual are high risk LOOOL...

G+ and G= deluxe series.

And I hate the Star Trek series, played some slots a while and sometimes all the slots are unlocked for certain period of time but they all act and play the same i.m.o ... Had a few bonusses triggered but very low pay on those.

Is this only online, or does it go for WMS land machines too

Just online. The worst offenders in my opinion are MG Quickfire slots. The reels spin longer (try TSII for example) before any win drops in. The big giveaway is on games where two scatters award a prize - you get the delayed reel stop, you see from the two first reels stopping that you can't get a 3-line plus win but of course 2 scatters land on the last 3 reels somewhere...

There is a Micro second or Milli second on most reels that suggest a feature or an upgrade on a bonus round, the trick they use
is the reels that are slowed down all "Matrix Style", aka "Bullet Time".

Variance on WMS slots does tend to be low on most of their slots, where you slowly lose but don't feel aggrieved, but they do as what all equations (I mean slots) do kick in a big win to entice you back.

Possibly the way they are made to function?

I hear ya Mark. Love playing them at the B and M and got to play a few when I went home in October, but damn I miss them online

Well it is all so funny as I lost nearly my whole bankroll at bet365 on WMS slots, swapped over to IR and TFROL and won my whole bankroll back.
Had a great win on TFROL on a €2.40 spin of nearly 300x bet on the x5 multiplier x 10 spins.

I played a 2 hour session on Kronos and Buffalo Spirit and managed to trigger 4 free spin rounds (2 on each) over 100's of spins and the payouts were to cry for,max of 15x bet.
So I am not too impressed of these WMS slots.
The amount of times these miss the free spins when 2 scatters are showing up is unreal and also base game pays are non existant.
I like the wild feature on Buffalo Spirit when the buffalo shows up on reel 3 in a winning combination as defo has potential as I have seen on several vids on youtube but I guess that is a seldom seen thing as on most slots, the big hit.

I tend to say those slots are both very high variance as the amount of empty spins is endless sometimes.
That said I had a few nice hits on slots like Bierhaus and Ruby Slippers.
But Kronos,Zeus,Buffalo Spirit and the likes of those I find very hard to win something on.

.

By the way, Williams is releasing a new slot later this month - Elvis: The King Lives. Looks very cool

Jackpot Block Party and Giant's Gold should go live in December.

WMS

I have found in the physical casinos that the WMS machines pay out alright, if you can run good bonus games and 5 of a kind stacks. After a big win, these machines can run ice cold.

I find that Bally and other companies slot machines, don't pay out big as often and like to string you along and not give you a real win when you do hit it.

Konami machines can produce some good wins too.

Making the payouts fair for both the casino and the players is a must.Too much greed by casinos, means don't play the slots, and play table games over them.

Land Based WMS ---- First off WMS is definetley taking over most casino floors. With that being said, I have never been a huge fan of WMS. I wont say I do not like them, I just havent felt that the payouts are that great. I have a had a few good hits on a few machines, but even with that the payouts seem low. I remember hitting almost a full screen of gold skulls on the pirate one and I have to say it was like 200-300x which wasnt great for almost the best symbol.

My favorite wms is the zeus 3 machine.

I have not played the Awesome Burst ones, but I have seen a lot of large pays like the video above. Looks like huge win potential which I assume will leave someone with a lot of dead spins and dead bonuses.

I believe the top pay on the Awesome Burst machines is 20,000x. In the video above, the guy won $34,500 on a $2 bet (so 17250x) and there are still 3 symbols missing. So yes, you better assume that there's a lot of dead spins when you play those.

Simmo,do you have those stats buddy?
Waiting eagerly for you to post them.

I defo wanna see some figures from Kronos and Wild Buffalo as I cant hit jack on them sofar lol.
And can WMS rtp's being altered by a casino?
Would like to know base RTP for these slots as they claim 95.97% ish on bet365.

The Awesome burst games have been pulled from most casinos. There are very few that still have any left. I think even WMS pulled any info on them from their own website several months back. I'm not sure if it was a lack of interest in the games from the players end or the casinos didn't like the huge jackpots these games could payout. I could easily see a smaller casino getting sold on these from their rep and first week they are installed start hitting monster jackpots as witnessed in some videos online. Instead the casinos would rather be flooded with games from the colossal reel series that just grind the player to death with lots of small wins and never the chance for a handpay. At least thats the way it is at my locals. I tend to now stick to the Aristocrat slots. Lots of potential and its the games I see most of the jackpots being hit on. I still play my favorite WMS games but I know that its mostly for entertainment purposes.

That double money burst looks really cool. I think rainmaker or someone else posted, that those should be going live this/next month. Or that might be just a dream I had :(.
I would really love to see zeus3 online. Really cool videos on youtube from those.

Yes, Elvis: The King Lives (which I mentioned a few posts back) will be Williams Interactive's first online game powered by their Double Money Burst engine.

It will be released in a few days.

As for Zeus 3 - this one is scheduled to be released in online casinos in January.

Features like free spins, clumped wilds, clumped symbols and wild reels

(RTP= 96.10%)
