I can't stand it any more, I am sick of all the online casinos. Either they are rigged and you cant win a dime, or they take too freakin long to pay you. Or the let you win at first and then change up the odds to get you back down as fast as they can. I have to cut my losses and get out of this crap. What a waste of money it has been. Its amazing that I can sit down and lose siginifact amounts of money at my computer. What a corrupt industry this is. Its a gamble just to gamble online. I think it would be great if it gets banned. Its not really doing anyone good. The ones that do win are greatly outnumbered by those who lose. So all I say is that all online casios can kiss my ass. They will not see another cent of my money, they will have to screw someone else.

Gambling online is gambling plain and simple. Never play with money you can't afford to lose and hope for the best.

Making it illegal is not the answer. Pushing it underground will just give the crooks more leverage. It needs to be regulated and regulated now. Most forward thinking countries are doing this at the moment, but it is the US with it's 17th century puritan background that creates even more problems for itself. The American government rarely learns from its mistakes.

Corrupt? Yes, there is a lot of corruption. Lying casino managers, cheating software, deceptive advertising, etc. But on the other end of the stick there are the casinos that are connected to well established land based operations that are lisenced and highly scrutinized.

And there is risk involved. Knowledge is power and so is a gut feeling. If it doesn't feel right or look right, don't do it.

On the upside, you can always play for free (in most cases) and hone your skills for when you go to a brick and mortar casino and play for real.

cheer up too fast...things will get better for you... you said yourwself that there are a select few who win those big pots...why not let one of those people be you....and again if you are using money you really cant afford to be gambling with then dont gamble.

    Thank you,

It's really no different in a land based casino. Winners didn't build Las Vegas. The rant should not be Online Gambling, but gambling in general. If you are doing it for the fun and the rush, is ok. If you are doing it for the money, there are better, safer investments.

There are so many different types of gambling. Sports betting, Horses, Dogs, Stock Market. Most of these can be beaten with some research and a lot less luck than blackjack. Even the occasional sure-bet, wasn't it the '29 Blacksox?

Poker can be beaten in the long run. Long run is important to remember as there is nothing keeping you from getting cold cards for months at a time.

Anyways, if you are going to stop playing, just stop. Get everything off your puter, take a walk, and don't give it a second thought. Remember how you are feeling right this very second before you consider making another deposit.

No, the odds were always against you. When you're winning at a casino, you're running good. When you're losing a little, you're running NORMAL. When you're losing a lot, you're running bad.

Here's some advice, keep a fork next to your computer. If you ever find yourself downloading an online casino again, stab yourself in the hand with it. I'm not kidding. Lot's of people swear off gambling (drinking, smoking) and are right back at it again in the coming days (weeks, months). Don't let that happen to you. Take whatever steps are necessary to prevent a relapse.

i tried that but i found that handcuffing myself to a chair and sprinkling a liberal amount of lye on the back of my hand is twice as effective

    Strange.

Slashman- My only question is why did you dig up a 3 yr old post? Just curious.

PS- Apparently, the original poster has had multiple relapses if you check out all of his/her posts. One a recent as Feb of 06.

Edited as i now realize Slashman is a noob who is doing a little random posting. No prob. Welcome Slashman.
