Random Jackpot Idea...

Ok, so been playing RTG for YEARS and never ever hit a random, though I hit the ones at Intercasino all the time. Average of one every 5 sessions. Now I have been playing on this deposit at this RTG for hours for nearly a week and still no random! BooHooHoo

So here is my idea....

How about a random that starts at like $1000

And hits every say 10000 spins. Now here is the tricky part to simplify I will use 2 different bet amounts....

$1 and $2

So total contributing wagers is $3

So every 10000 spins someone hits it. If the person that hits it is betting $1 they get 1 third of the pot, and if the person betting $2 hits it they get 2/3rd of the pot. And the pot continues to grow and reseeding it is never necessary because the entire thing never gets wiped out....

I would totally play that game!!!!

I suggested something similar to Dogboy when he was still active in the forum. He didnt respond as far as I can recall.

I like the idea but I seriously doubt the casinos are going to do anything which makes our job easier.

Assuming the pot never grows that would be 3.33% of RTP which is more than twice what it is now, and of course that would have to come from the regular spin RTP. If it were to grow that number would go up and the normal spin RTP would have to go down even further.

I can understand the wish for a higher trigger chance and lower jackpots to let more people hit the jackpot more often, but it would still have to be a random chance like it is now, if it was set to go every 10000 spins it would be open to some serious abuse. That's pretty much what RTG has done though with the addition of the minor jackpots.

Do you mean literally on the 10,000th spin the jackpot is won?
If so, would you REALLY "totally play that game" during the first 9,900 spins?

10000 was just an example... My meaning was simply a higher trigger chance...

hiya; If you were to Copy what Station Casino's sometimes do, here in Las vegas, then it would work. They have a, "Jackpot currently at $12,000, and must hit by $15,000". This is a real example, and i have seen it many times.

There is NO warning as to when it will be done, or any pattern between how long from the last time it was done, to the next. ie. You can't predict when they will do it.

This, of course, stops most people from playing other slots, or video poker, and they play these slot machines, until a winner is announced. It is NOT AT $15000, but Must Hit By, $15000. It could hit at spin $12003, or spin $14997.

I think it, "Could" work, if done Randomly, and done in such a way as to stop current players from just logging in to see if this event is going on, or not, and then just logging out and checking back later. You want to keep your current player base playing, and at the same time, gain players, "Who would not normally be there", to also be playing.
