Thumbs up Multiple Alias Fix

Mg has started to fix the joining of a tournament with multiple aliases. Swallow that one antnik, nikant, , mnstrs, jessons, etc. A fair game at last!

Now how would YOU know, unless you were ALSO doing it, and found an error message instead.

MGS actually SPLIT the aliases so that we could play multiple seats in the Grand Slam, which is the OPPOSITE of cracking down on multiple aliases.

MGS also introduced the "rebuy", and the "unlimited rebuy", so it no longer mattered about having more than one go in a tournament.

To REALLY make it fair, MGS need to scrap the "999 rebuys", as this is just as bad as joining with multiple aliases.

When MGS first started the tournaments, there were NO REBUYS at all, and this was FAR fairer, and being able to get multiple aliases REALLY gave you an advantage.

I once complained about a BUG whereby Ladbrokes casino software INSISTED I create a SECOND alias, and FORBADE me from using my main one. They didn't give a F***, and told me to go ahead and create a second alias for their casino. It was CASINOS that actively ENCOURAGED this practice, and the attitude of "we don't give a F*** if players have multiple aliases" is probably what encouraged other players to deliberately do it to obtain MANY aliases.

The alias system is totally broke for me, when trying to use the same one it used to (if my memory serves right) tell me it would email a link to click on to confirm it was me. the email NEVER showed up from ANY casino so I HAD to make a new one. Now it tells me the alias is already in use so I have a different alias at every MG casino, I hardly ever play tourneys though.

The same always happens to me, so you MUST make a new Alias, if you want to play a tourney in another casino!

THIS is what MGS supposedly decided a while back to allow individual players to win multiple seats at the Grand Slam. There seems to have been pressure from operators on this one, keen that the €1,000,000 was won at THEIR casino, so THEY could bask in the FREE (since MGS paid) glory of hosting the big winner.

Ladbrokes ended up hosting the winner, but read their PR and you would think THEY paid the €1,000,000 and not MGS
