Question Latest batch of Neteller deposit errors

There seems to be an high percentage of NT deposit errors coming from casinos that have their game servers housed at kahnawake server compound.

I notice people are reporting time out errors, which means either the server has crashed or the packets are not being received or transmitted, well at least I think that's what it means

Before all this US Bill hullabaloo NT imo was not going down as often, it certainly wasn't experiencing as many time outs. I've been using NT since 2001 and in this period I can only remember a total of 3 transactions that didn't get processed & credited automatically to my casino accounts.

However, in the last 2 months I've experienced 7 NT errors in relationship to deposits at casinos who have their game servers at the kahnawake server compound.

As far as I'm aware the NT servers are located in Canada also.

Ok this idea I have is pretty out there but it's not impossible. What's to say that these packets from NT & or the casino games server are not being intercepted or delayed?

When I also add this to the 1000% increase of Error Code 2's at MG casinos (operating out of kahnawake) I've been getting over the last 3 months, I start to question wtf is going on.

I'd be interested in hearing other peoples views on this?

    Cheers

I haven't had any problems with NT time outs (other than the rare time that I would try to deposit on maintenance day) in a year or so. The recent time outs began for me on Nov. 4 or 5. Almost all my MG deposits since then have timed out.

I have no idea of the cause. I think I've already mentioned my theory that they were setting things up to ready their system to block U.S. players but experienced a glitch. But whatever is causing this problem appears to be affecting all players.

I would be interested to hear if there are players who have had NO time outs whatsoever during the past ten days -- depositing at will via NETeller at MG casinos with no hiccups or timeouts or delays.

For the first time two of my NT deposits were dropped. I had one heck of a time getting the casino to find them. They did eventually.

I really hope Neteller doesn't turn away US players. Where would I go?

    Kawanake

Problems with Kawanake connections have been mentioned before in relation to casino "Error 2". One suggestion was that a faulty router was to blame. It could also be that the server farm has simply grown too big for the capacity it can hijack from the fibre-optic link between Canada and the USA, the main attraction for having the servers there.

There was a spate of Neteller lost deposits a while back (a year or two). In this recent event, I have had one time-out, but I notice that all my Neteller deposits seem to take ages to go through (worrying in itself, as I am just waiting for the time-out error). Neteller deposits always used to go through in a second or two, now they "process" for several seconds, and not just at Microgaming casinos.

If this problem continues unabated, players will begin to lose faith, and then trust, in the whole industry; not least because some casinos seem to make it so hard to reconcile these lost deposits. The process should be simple, NT code from Neteller and give it to the casino, but it can take hours to get it from Neteller, and hours getting the casino to fix it.
A large part of the customer base has already been taken away by the US rule change, and surely the best thing for the industry now would be to try to hang on to what is left and grow outside the US - currently, it looks like the whole thing is falling apart!

Currently, my main problem getting wayward deposits credited have been on the casino end. As soon as I see the 'problem contacting NETeller' in the banking software, I close the casino, log in to NETeller and see that the funds have indeed been taken out. Copy the line of text showing the errant deposit (w/time and amount), then I paste the info into an email to NETeller. NETeller replies within 30 minutes or less w/NT#. Then the hassle really begins. Email pertinent info to casino and wait. .... and wait... email again... Contact live support... they say send info via email... and wait some more.

I had a deposit time out at Grand Monaco early Friday evening. My account still hasn't been credited. Sad to say, they have lost me as a player. I'll play out my pathetic little deposit (if I ever get it) and then uninstall them.

I haven't deposited much this week as I've had to spend most of my spare time tracking down missing money and emailing support (thus my little Mousey now wears an eye patch ... I'd rather poke myself in the eye with a stick than have to contact casino support -- especially on weekends).

Precisely! No telling how many players have been frightened off with these problems. And the casinos are not helping by dragging their feet in seeing that these accounts get credited promptly.

If UIGEA is enforced, NETeller has announced intentions to comply.
NETELLER, a company registered outside the US, will comply with the Act and its related regulations as if it were subject to the Act's jurisdiction.

    Casino Reps

It might be helpful for casino reps to comment on this Neteller issue, and problems players face getting the errant deposits credited.

It would at least make us feel that the problem is being taken seriously, and hopefully something will be done about it. It is nearly 2 weeks now since this started, and it is not getting any better!

I want to see Neteller deposits back to normal, as in taking only a second or two.

I tried Grand Monaco yesterday, my deposit went though, albeit slowly. Disappointing to learn that support are not on the ball about this.

You would think someone from either Neteller or the casinos would .
Get your facts first, then you can distort them as you please.

Seeing that 95% of my play is at FL these days I'm going back to Credit Cards or will use their direct transfer facility. As far as wins I'll get these wired to my bank or @ least until I know what's going on with NT.

I've been thinking of getting my aff payments wired too.

Edit: I'm also getting sick of having to phone NT every time I want to transfer cash to my ATM Card. It used to go thru automatically and within 45min. Did it a few weeks ago and it took over 8 hours...
