    Wow...that was a little hard to watch but very interesting. My ex had to get all his top teeth pulled (bad family dental history) and I bet he would have loved something like that to hold his dentures in.
    Do we all have to reveal our "dirty little secrets"? Uh-oh!

    I don't have a cat.....

    And there's a reason for not smiling. Truth be told, I was pretty wild and reckless when I was much younger, and really didn't take care of my teeth. I ended up getting 6 root canals on my top front teeth, and because of insurance reasons, the temporary "build up" the dentist put on those teeth started to break off one by one, leaving only the roots. Thank god they were dead to begin with or that would have been a hell of a time....

    For my insurance at the time to pay for a partial plate, I had to have all but 2 teeth missing on each side of my mouth, and that unfortunately wasn't the case. But - they would pay for a full denture if I didn't have any teeth up there. So I pretty much chose to get the rest pulled and get a full denture, instead of having a huge 6 tooth gap up there.

    Fortunately for me, my bottom teeth were able to be saved, and are currently worth probably $5,000

    I did have a denture at one point, but lost it during one of my moves....

    Hopefully I'll win enough in Vegas this time around to get another set What I really want to get are those mini-implants where they basically put small 'connectors' in your gums/jawbone (not entirely sure), and the denture snaps in place. That's $1700 right there, and insurance definitely doesn't cover that....lol

    Ok, now you guys know my dark dirty secrets

Well, I finally broke down today and did what I was avoiding for the longest time; but it couldn't be avoided any longer. I figured out my budget.

After necessities, I have $27 a month leftover for myself. But that doesn't include gas for the car. So basically, I'm apartment-bound except for doctors appointments and physical therapy.

I have to live with this budget until I heal and my doctor releases

I'm so pissed off about all this crap due to my car accident almost 6 weeks ago. That idiot driver caused all of these problems, and he's probably only going to get a slap on the wrist - maybe a fine and maybe have his license suspended for awhile - but I seriously doubt it.

All of this, while I get to live day in and day out with constant headaches, neck and back pain, and dealing with the fact that my doctor has me off from work until who knows when....but hey, I don't have a job

Back pain & Treatment -- it sucks.

Well, this sucks.

I just had my 1 month evaluation at physical therapy yesterday, and I have made _no_ improvement in regards to my back and neck problems. The only thing that's improved is the strength in my legs, which really haven't been a problem...

So now, my neurologist wants to start injections in combination with physical therapy, at least for the next month. I really don't want to go down that road, but it seems that this is the only road to follow. The physical
