Hey, lauram, I am a fellow canuck, and I know you have a problem with that Grand Casino canadian phone #issue too. It is titled Grand Casino, on the Road to Rogueville, and if you need help regarding my post, PM me back. My advice re golden casino & such, don't even ask to unsubscribe, just tells them that they hit a "live" address, and will give them a chance to sell the list even further. I am wondering if Canadian players are going to be having the same kind of problems US players are. I am in Kingston, and wonder if you are a Casino Rama player? I go by bus there once or twice a month, and it might even be a possiblity for us to meet in person If you haven't been, Tai Pan Tours takes you up for $5 return from multiple locations. The shuttle from Kingston goes Sundays & Wednesdays, and I prefer to go on Wednesdays.
I don't like Woodbine much, and the food was not great. Thousand Island Charity Casino in Ganonaque just up the road from me would be "not recommended" if you ask me. The management company has been fined five times to my certain knowlege for paying out less they were supposed to, and I have been told by a couple of generally reputable friends it is now seven, but as I do not read the paper daily.
I'd like to start a forum for Canucks, because I think we might be heading the same way as the US. The goverment owns most of the casinos in Ontario, and Rama is the only Native run one in Ontario.
If you have too busy a life to add a new real life friend, np. Online at Meister is good, and are you the person that actually got a contact number for Grand Hotel Casino, let me know.
