This is Pure Bull$hit
A week into the Bill and change is still happening on an ever increasing basis. This week I do have an announcement to make that I am sure will not make me very popular. It is a step that we have to take to ensure that we are protected.
Payments this month are delayed - and my apologies for the late announcement .We are going to need to withhold 10% of all revenue generated from players in the USA to cover for any future chargeback's. We will hold these amounts for 6 months and then will release these payments to you when that time period is up. - Wager Junction |

Wagershare and IOG are doing the same thing.
Originally this thing about affiliates absorbing all the chargebacks was instituted in order to avoid affiliates and players getting together to scam casinos. It was accepted as part of T&Cs on that basis only. Now it has been in force for years and - just like the politicians - these programs are taking a rule that was created to fix a specific problem and twisting it to serve their own agenda now. Shame, shame!

They definitely need to think it through... This 'law' won't last forever and they are pissing off everyone in the short term.
It's time for casinos and programs to start thinking long term instead of cutting off their left foot.

I gotta admit when I got the email from Wager Junction I was pissed off big time, especially since I have not been paid on time once from wager junction since they took over Windows Casino, before that, in six years, Windows Casino was NEVER late with a single payment, ya I know a lot of did not like Windows Casino, but they were damn good to me.
A little history... Before Wager Junction took over Windows Casino, Windows Casino took out a “Reserve” of 10% and held it for six months, this was to cover credit card fraud and charge backs (We don’t have to worry about CC fraud or CC charge-backs now there will not be any credit transactions - so why the Reserve now? Greg???). Windows has held a Reserve since Windows Casino was a casino. I never had a problem with Windows holding a % of my money as long as I got it back in the long run and in six years I never had one single dollar held back out of my reserve. However, after Wager Junction took over I had to fight to get my Reserve paid back to me and I know I got shorted but I can’t prove it, because the stats history that Windows Casino keeps were changed by RTG (all the reserve area totals over time were deleted) so I could not verify what amounts had been held back and owed to me over time. I do like Greg, the affiliate manager with Wager Junction, he seems like a real good guy, but WJ really does need to work on a few things, like making payments on time and making sure the ‘Reserve’ is tracked and paid out on time if they want to keep American affiliates. And lets be honest here, it is the American affilaites that are taking a much bigger risk in this market than the casinos and the American affiliates are fast becoming the ONLY doorway to American players...

I really can't believe that anyone is going to keep promoting wagershare. Maybe, Wagershare can withhold 99% of all affiliate earnings and send out the one percent after the affiliate does some tricks for them like sit-up, roll-over, bark like a dog and play dead... You know the Bill Bush just signed will not kill online gambling, but the way these dumbass casino management people keep acting there won't need to be any laws needed to shut online casinos all down, the stupid casino management people will do it all for the government. BTW - I don't NEED to promote casinos, I can promote and make money from anything on the net, as can any good casino affilaite... If anyone wants to I can show you how to make good money promoting non-casino products and software, just PM me.

I am starting to wonder if the casinos aren't making this a bigger deal than they should. I am truly disapointed in their short sightedness. It truly feel they are taking the wrong stance in this entire episode. As we all know the law was signed for election and financial reasons (and there is alot of evidence in that regard)to the benefit of certain republicans. With this in mind, one would thought that someone would chalange the law in court? The WTO ruling is also there and I am sure there will be more rulings added to that. Further more, the way the bill was passed also support the fact that this bill was undemocratic and not supported and sneaky tactics had to be used for personal gain.
I think that the casino operators should rather start looking at how they are going to fight this bill and get all of this over ande done once and for all, rather than keeping the money and run. Whoever takes on this chalange will certainly benefit most from the ruling that will be made. Now I see poker taking a stance of getting themselves excluded from the law as they feel that poker is not a game of chance but rather a game of skill. Although this is all beautifull and wonderfull for poker, is there maybe some way that the attachment of the bill can be chalanged? I am not an expert in the US law, but it makes sense to me that there must be a way for the industry to take on Bush and his slaves to get this sorted for once and for all. Purely looking at the way this law will push online gambling underground and becoming a real problem for problem gamblers, whilst rather legalising it and controling it, must stand strong in any court. I suggest that the whole industry stand together and create a fund to take this to court. Together we can take on the Bush and his slaves to get back the democratic rights of the US citizens.

Whoo boy did I screw up!
I would like to point out that my last post #7 in this thread was NOT about Wager Junction, it was about Wagershare. I can’t go back and edit my post as too much time has passed, so please, please read my two posts in this thread very carefully. One is about Wager Junction and one is about Wagershare. I did not have my thinking cap on when I posted about Wagershare in thread about Wager Junction... The two names are so similar and the casinos and the casino management are so very different.
