What do you - what do we - expect?
Apparently cipher doesnt believe, what he says. He is driven in a corner and desperately fights to save face (or what is remaing). Honestly: I dont think that this thread is going to help westland and others from now on. We should seriously consider to close it and let lawyers and mirrors (sic) do the rest. |

I just wonder if the person he was helping to get that large sum of money got swindled themselves.
Interesting theory on the hidden agenda LS. I have to agree on closing the thread...almost 10,000 views since Thursday. That says ALOT. I think it's gotten all the exposure it deserves, and we're just beating a dead horse from here on out.

Karma is a Bitch Cipher, and you can take that to the grave with you and live it in another life. It will catch up with your sorry ass one of these days. |

I agree with you guys about closing the thread. It has served its purpose, and hopefully Cipher will have to look elsewhere for new marks (besides CM). The thread will always still be here, in case anyone comes and types Cipher in the search box. That's good enough for me.
It's just an incredibly sad, depressing tale all the way round and continuing to post serves no purpose. It's now up to Tim and his family to deal with this.

In all seriousness, this is such a sick and disgusting mess. Obviously this is difficult enough for WB--losing his mother and then having to deal with this. The sad truth is it will also be another red flag for the US to point at where online gambling is concerned, should this go to court...and it SHOULD. WB--if indeed it is true that you're a city auditor, I'm guessing you would know some lawyers who can help point you in the best direction to get things rolling. PLEASE do this immediately. I would also urge you to suspend any and all discussions with Cipher and stop posting. Someone as cunning as Cipher will no doubt use your postings against you by manipulating words. The best thing to do is be smarter than Cipher and that shouldn't be all that difficult. The sickest thing in all this is the notion that Cipher is seemingly getting off on all of this. His shocking behaviour and here-and-there postings are reminiscent of serial killers who write to newspapers, getting cheap thrills. It's generally a cry for attention and I can't help but imagine that Cipher has serious emotional issues. It seems obvious Cipher is getting some sort of sick thrill out of using the death of WB's mother as his scapegoat--as if to throw acid on WB's all-too-raw wounds. Regardless as to whether Cipher is mentally ill or just a common piece-of-crap criminal, this matter needs to be resolved for WB monetarily and Cipher either needs to be locked away in a jail or a mental institution. Either destination, clearly, Cipher needs serious help and the public needs to be protected from him and others like him. This should be a cautionary tale for all of us. |

As the OP requested it, thread closed. If the OP wishes it to be re-opened, it will be. Westland Bowl: I'd suggest you keep Bryan or myself updated as to the offline path this takes. There are a couple of potentially good lessons in all of this..in my opinion as follows: 1) Know the person you trust with your money, especially when they are not a multi-faceted business 2) Always get a legally binding business agreement in such a case 3) Why would you ever buy a gambling system? If it was truly successful, why would they want to sell it and risk it being busted? Cheers Simmo! |

Perhaps this is another "Fall from Grace" award category for the 2007 awards? Cipher's spiral into the crap-pit of disgrace is unprecedented - worse than Steve "Adkins" even, and that's pretty bad.
Live by the sword - die by the sword as I always say. I'm not going to get into how disturbed I am with Cipher's indifference he has towards WB and other's. His unapologetic attitude is alarming. Sure it's only money, but in this case it can be symbolic towards our compassion for others. It would have been a totally different situation if Cipher would had said, "Sorry dude, I messed up - here's x-amount of $$ to get you by until I get the rest...etc." Instead - we are given blustery pseudo lawyer-speak. That's not very effective, nor is it good manners. I think many of us are learning a lesson here. Unfortunately, it's via the School of Hard Knocks for some. I agree with GG when she recommends that WB should discontinue posting on this matter. WB, I'll PM you about this. It's always a sad day when I have to read about this crap. What a bummer.
