Oh, the lump sounds like a fatty tumor, keep an eye on that though, if it gets bigger have Mowi checked out, fatty tumors are soft and sometimes change in size..

you need to take your cat to the vet. Mine had the same thing, and she required a shot to kill the worm. That's what it is. It looks like rice, then moves.ewwwwwwwww Tapeworm, that what the vet said it was.

If the bugs look like a grain of rice, they are worms which comes from eating fleas, sometimes when they bite at the fleas they eat them and thats how they get the worms, just one pill kills them, but make sure you get flea problem taken care of, if not your defeating the purpose..I recommend advantage-plus, make sure it says PLUS, that kills the flea egss that are there, not just the fleas, and kitty will be fine..good luck

Hi Patrina! The white threadlike bugs might be intestinal worms........just guessing....have you had Mowi dewormed recently? As far as fleas, from what I remember (as living in the high desert there are no fleas but 7 years ago in the SF Bay Area there were lots of fleas) I remember feeling around the kitty's neck to see if there were little small mounds of brown crap (flea shit). If so, cat needed some flea killer. I used the once a month stuff in a tube. I think it's called Advantage and works great!

Hey everyone, I have a question? My cat "Mowi" has a lump on her side, near her stomach, it's a soft kind of lump, round but it was longish at first, could fleas do that? Also, I have found some weird kinds of bugs and I am wondering if she got them. At first, they look like, well, nothing really, just a little white threadlike thing, it's almost transparent and then (I think) they change into these things that look like a crescent shape? Does anyone know of anything like this? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, thanks guys,
