Top 5 Stats

I'm very big on stats and generally find forum stats quite interesting. However, I dislike the new top 5 stats because I need to scroll down past them every time I want to view the threads. Why not put the stats below the threads, with the other forum stats ("Casinomeister's Online Casino and Poker Forum Statistics")?

Actually I have to say I like the "quick view" on the latest threads at the top personally. But maybe AKA is right.

I'm just upset that CM has left Mods off the Top 5 lists when we're clearly far more important than you plebs How about some more emoticons now Bryan? I am sure Thelma & Louise could dig you up a set before they head over the cliff.

Actually, I put them on the top for a reason. If they are on the bottom, no one will notice them. Maybe after some time, I'll move them at the bottom after most of us know that they exist.

Emoticons? Sure - actually I believe you (Simmo!) have access to load those up.

And yes, I felt the superiority of the mods didn't need to be rubbed into the common people's faces too much, so I disallowed their display in the stats.

By the way - you can click the double-arrow on the right hand side of the stats and they scroll up out of view. Or you can disable completely by clicking the arrow on the left.

I like it, the new format. How cool!! It really feels like a "community" now. Or as Cyn likes to say....dysfunctional family.

I hope people use the introduction feature.

It is absolutely fair that mods don't count, they could rig their scores

I hope there is something in place to prevent "cheating", as in members arranging to thank and rep each other solely to get higher rankings.

Perhaps we should get the chance to rank the accredited casinos too, and have them appear in the stats.

The rep thing is pretty thorough - there is a formula used to compute these numbers and it's pretty fair. I've only caught two members abusing this system, and they ability to give/take rep points was disabled.

By the way - I'm going to rename the rep points, Karma points. It seems more fitting.

Interesting thought on the accredited casino list. I'll think about how it could be done.

Are there any other catagories you'd like to see in the "Top 5"? This is pretty much the default settings - I'm not done with it yet.
