Dynamic Gaming Systems Network Transfer
January 21, 2008
San Jose, Costa Rica - Dynamic Gaming Systems (DGS) announced today that an agreement for the transfer of their network has been reached with Cintaly Holding Corporation (CHC).
CHC, based out of the British Virgin Islands, anticipates having the DGS network in full operation within 72 hours of the transaction being completed. Executives of CHC stated they were excited by the opportunity to take over one of the finest poker software networks online today. Although the details of the transaction were not made public, it is our understanding CHC intends to honour all verified existing Player Balances and Licensee Agreements.
CHC acknowledged the news reports that indicated that some of DGS’s Licensees may have already transitioned their player onto other networks. Although disappointed that they had left, this deal is a win-win for all current and future licensees, and players. CHC strongly emphasized that their prime objective was to get all remaining Players, Licensees back operational as fast as possible.

The fact that CHC is going to take over the (remaining) defunct DGS group bodes well for online poker. After some of the scandals in the last few years and some of the other failures, many players, like myself, were becoming very wary of any and ALL the rooms out there. And for US players, we are really at their mercy. Without any true regulation of the rooms there is very little, if any, recourse, so it can be a double risk.

Dynamic Gaming Systems Collapses Update 02/12/2008 09:33 AM
As we previously reported on the 23rd of January, Dynamic Gaming Systems (DGS) announced that an agreement for the transfer of their network had been reached with Cintaly Holding Corporation (CHC) and that it was their intention to have the DGS network in full operation within 72 hours of the transaction being completed.
Since then, PokerRoomReview has received disturbing reports from players who have been attempting to play at Jungle Poker and from one player in particular who has been a customer of JP for about a year. This player reports that there is absolutely no evidence of a legitimate new ownership and that CHC appears to be a non-existent company. The entire site remains closed except for ring game play, perhaps 2 or 3 people at support and the cashier, which just reopened Sat, Feb 11th, with the announcement of new withdrawal rules, which say, in effect, that no previous account balances will be honored. The few remaining players are being made promises of things that never take place and the entire situation is a shambles. The players are being told absolutely nothing and accounts have been locked in retaliation for criticizing the individual who claims to be the Director of Operations. The player wrote, “My main reason for writing you is that what is going on at Jungle Poker is bad for internet poker and what DGS and the supposed new "owners," particularly [the Director of Operations] are doing to legitimate players is disgraceful at best, and in my opinion, criminal at worst.”
It appears that this takeover was bogus. Bryan rogued one of the skins and it does not seem like anyone has been paid since the takeover.
I just blows me away that there are still scores of players who patronize these Costa Rican clip shot joints
Unlicensed - software provided by whom? DGS? http://www.dynamicgamingsystems.com
I don't think they have ever attended any industry conference - based in CR? C'mon people, grow some braincells. Either these players are idiots or they don't give a flying rat's ass who they throw their money at.

And then there are those licensed poker rooms in CR like Absolute Poker and Ultimate Bet.

Here is a good prediction from G911 although one might think the same thing would go for poker rooms on micro networks. How many times were you told and asked again and again? We kept on saying to you that you are giving away too much. You can’t give away 100k and expect to get that back in a few weeks. You went from -105 to -103 to even money then back to -103 then bailing out all these players, then onto crazy bonuses. Now you finally have players depositing, we finally convinced you to start setting some limits to bonuses etc, we were gaining the players trust that we worked our *** off to achieve and you pull the plug!!! Did you finally realize the liability of this venture? Did you finally fully understand what it is you are doing? This was asked countless times, always with a reply from you “no worries, I want BJO to be the biggest sportsbook out there.” We had to shut the site down Richard, we simply couldn’t take the chance and allow players to deposit money and not be able to pay them their winnings
http://www.gambling911.com/BigJuicyO...al-102607.htmlBigJuicyOdds advertises its online poker site on Gambling911.com. However, G911 incorporates strict guidelines as not to promote online sports betting operations that are in existence less than three years as it has been our experience that nine out of every ten such business fails within that three year time frame.
HI all,
I had previously posted that I had a balance of $143.12 at OKUSAPoker and thought I had lost it all. Well I checked the site and now it goes to Jungle Poker and lo and behold, my balance shows up in full.
The new format is nothing to get excited about, a lot of small 1-2-5 dollar tournament buyins, no freerolls and not much else. 183 total players on the site, the vast majority playing play money tables. No players at the money tables or the sit and gos, and about a dozen in the tournaments.
The withdrawal policy is pretty strict, and you have to make a deposit in order to make a withdrawal. My funds are listed as restricted, meaning I cannot withdraw them, which is understandable since they came from the prior owners.
I am told that I have to make a deposit, then play and literally turn over the old retricted balance into a new unrestricted balance. And it looks like they may use my unrestricted balance (and maybe any deposit bonus) before letting me use the restricted balance, but I am not totally positve about this, nor was customer service.
Bottom line, to pick up the $143.12 I have to deposit $50, ( I would get a $100 deposit bonus) then play a lot on a site with only a few players to capture the deposit bonus and then churn the money from restricted to unrestricted.
It's the deposit part the concerns me, I am not sure that trusting them with $50 is the smart thing to do.
Any thoughts?
If you have outstanding WR on the money you currently have in there, there's no reason for you to have to make another deposit. I'd consider filing a PAB and see if Bryan can help in any way.
Operators: If you don't know what Transparency means, then here you go.....now how about practicing it?
Transparency, as used in the humanities and in a social context more generally, implies openness, communication, and accountability. It is a metaphorical extension of the meaning a "transparent" object is one that can be seen through. ...
