Just thought I would drop by and let you all know about the iNetBet August Freeroll that is being held this weekend (August 9th) using our new Blackjack Tournament software.

There will be two tournaments. One at 19:10 EST and 23:10 EST. That way everyone should be able to find a suitable time to play.

This tourney is only for depositing players the entry fee is just $1 which will be returned at the end of the tourney

Which I completely overlooked (thank you chuchu59). Why would it say free when you must deposit??? (Even if it is returned that is not considered free...it is considered a consideration for entry......

I am very sad over this because I planned on playing in this during my weekend at Dover Downs casino since it was blackjack (which I love) and now I just might have to give it a "pass" and just play in the real casino I am visiting...

Sheesh...always some kind of "hook"...

The tourney is only for our depositing players. They only way we could guarantee that players who have deposited took part was to structure it in this way.

Your points are well taken and in the future we will look to implement these changes with the tech team.

As you say the $1 fee is refunded, so in the end it will not cost anything to take part.

I dont understand. If the tourney was for depositing players and I happened to lose my full deposit last week or withdrew my full balance that does not in any way mean I am not a depositing player. It's just that i have not deposited for the sake of entering this freeroll. It's not that we feel that way. You emailed us because we are depositing players but now we must make a fresh deposit before playing. Does that sound right?

Silcnlayc <------ is a deposting player.....loves the casino....very faithful and loyal when treated well (which you do)....but sadly, that dollar really sticks in my throat and doesn't feel too good..(kinda like hard to swallow after lots of depositing)

But hey....we all will get over it...what should have been done was allow us in freely as it stated (before the condition was allowed to be inserted) and 90% of us would have hung around and deposited any way just because we were already there..

Now, many of us will not even show...just wanted to pass this along...and I REALLY wanted to play too! Dagnabbit!!

the dollar cannot be truely refunded as there is no way to actually take out 1 dollar from an e wallet. since that is the only way inet pays out anymore there is little choice. the one dollar would have to be attached to a larger amount thus requiring a deposit to the e wallet account and of course there are fees associated with withdrawls. i dont care either way as i do not play inet anymore but i noticed this thread and jumping through a hoop to play a freeroll is hardly a good time. i agree that a 1 dollar charge is a slap in the face to your loyal customers...

The Blackjack Tournament feature is relatively new and this was the only way a tourney for depositing players could be structured this time.
As I say all comments will be taken on board and hopefully we can implement these for forthcoming tourneys.

I understand what you are saying, however for a regular depositing player I do not see how having to transfer $1 from their casino account which will then be refunded once the tourney ends is "A Slap in the Face".

Agreed the wording to the promotion could have been altered a little and again this will be noted.

If you don't want to transfer a dollar from your casino account into the tournament software then this time I am afraid you will not be able to partake in the Tourney. As I say we will take your comments on board and I am sure there will be future promotions where you will not have to have any money in your account to take part.

For those of you who do deposit and have a spare $1 to come and join in, we look forward to seeing you Saturday and hope you have fun.

but the idea here is surely to get players who have deposited in the past and have $0 in there accts to deposit some funds ..theres no way anyone can deposit $1 and the hope therein is of the casino that the remainder will be played..true? if thats not the way it is im def sure anyone reading this will see it this way ....why not just make it free for anyone who HAS deposited???
