I wanted to post earlier but I contacted Bovada through this site first to give them another chance to give me a real explanation. Of course they gave me the runaround and told me to talk to their Security Team, which I already did and got nowhere. So here's what happened:

After months of stalling to pay my cashouts these crooks confiscated all my account funds!! Both sites emailed me at the exact same time saying I was guilty of Bonus Abuse. Bovada and Ignition are for sure the same company because I called Bovada and then immediately after Ignition, and got transferred to the same Poker Security team. I tried to get more details or any evidence of what I did wrong but they used BS excuses and refused to let me speak to a supervisor. All I want to do is warn everyone, be very careful with online gambling sites and definitely STAY AWAY FROM BOVADA AND IGNITION CASINOS!

So what happened to me was, my friend told me about a special bitcoin promotion Bovada was running where you can get 100% extra on your deposit. I deposited $250 the first time and lost quickly. I tried a second and third time and lost those too. Then on my 4th deposit I ran it up to $7k and cashed out! I was so hyped about my win and googled other casino bonuses. I saw that Ignition offered a similar promotion. This time I deposited $1k the first three times and lost. I was only going to allow myself to lose up to my $6k Bovada win. Again on my 4th deposit, I ran it up to $7.2k and cashed out.

The next day both sites emailed me that they needed to verify my account. I emailed them my ID. I called Ignition and they actually verified my account so I thought it was all good. I called Bovada and they said my account was still on hold while they reviewed documents. Over the next couple of months I sent in every piece of documentation they asked for. I called them several times and all they would say is to wait for emails with their decisions. They kept stalling and stalling until finally a few days ago they confiscated all my money, WTF! Like I said earlier I called both companies and they wouldn’t provide me with ANY EVIDENCE. Actually Bovada said I was abusing the bonus by withdrawing and re-depositing, when in fact I NEVER EVEN RECEIVED MY WITHDRAWAL!!! Just totally lying and making things up! They jacked my winnings AND my deposits.

DO NOT TRUST BOVADA. DO NOT TRUST IGNITION. THEY DO NOT PAY OUT IF YOU WIN. PLEASE LISTEN TO MY WARNING. THEY DO NOT OPERATE LEGITIMATE GAMBLING SITES!

If anyone can help in any way, please let me know!

I apologize in advance if I've done something wrong, but is there a reason my post is being ignored? These are two big sites that serve the USA. They have outright confiscated my account funds without providing any real explanation or proof. Why doesn't this board show any interest or concern?

Nope - no worries. All of the moderators were out last week, so that could be a reason. I'm surprised no one else has chimed in though.

Please feel free to submit a complaint via PAB. I'll also give our iGaming rep a heads up as well that this issue has appeared in the forum.

Cheers!

They have a rep here - see the 'send PM to rep' link on the left of this page, link above. The rep logged in yesterday so you should be OK.

Bodog no longer operate Bovada apparently, so things may have changed there. There have been a few slow-pay threads if you type 'Bovada' into the search facility. Try the rep, if no joy file a PAB as described by Bryan above.

I was following the board rules and PM'ed the Bovada rep before even posting. He told me:

Hi Benjamin,

We’re contacting you from the Player Advocacy Team here at Bovada.

Your account was forwarded to us from our Forum Monitoring Team and after further review, we see your account is being handled by our Security Team.

As your account is being handled by the appropriate department, any future contact will need to be addressed with them. You can get in contact with our Security Team by either calling the toll free number 1-866-909-ACES (2237) or via email at poker@bovada.lv.

We apologize for the frustration this matter has caused and we appreciate your patience.

I have already spoken with their Security Team. Their company line is that the decision is final, there's no supervisor that will speak with me, and they can't divulge details for security reasons. In other words, they just totally blew me off!

Never a problem

Thank you for this warning. I was considering giving ignition a try. Not anymore!

I've been playing this group for years and NEVER had a problem with them. Did OP file a PAB? I'd be very interested in hearing more about this case as it's by far the only one of its kind I believe we've ever seen at CM

"Player Advocacy Team here at Bovada."
That's very Orwellian language.
It's most likely a department that specialises in confiscating player's funds.

In the poker world, Ignition has a fair reputation. But, nothing would really surprise me.
It sounds to me like they were offering good promotions that a few people recognised and cashed in on.
If so, OP should be paid like regular.

You are 100% correct. Both Bovada and Ignition offered great casino promotions. I didn't do anything wrong. All I did was opt-in to their bonuses and won. I complied with all their ridiculous demands. Then they stole my winnings and kept my deposits.

It really is sad that no one is taking this seriously. It's actually scary that some people jump to their defense and ignore the facts. I hope no one else gets robbed like me. I'm sure these casinos are ripping off other customers since they can get away with it so easily.

Please beware!
