Signed up and deposited only to find the free spins were 1 p at 5 lines only , when its 20 line slot !
Completely misleading and no mention of the 5 lines until i had made a deposit , They were not even free spins they just credited my account with the cash equivalent of 200 spins at 5p a go and when i complained had the cheek to say i didn't have to play at 5p a spin i could put the stake up

So just a heads up to anyone else who gets this INVITE only amazing deal via email not to bother !

We've had this argument before. There is no scam, READ THE TERMS before depositing! The offer HAS given you the free spins advertised so no foul. You ASSUMED they would be full-lines as I'm sure Cretin Casino hoped you would. Yes, the offer is disingenuous and dramatically shows the difference between accredited/reputable casinos and clip joints. When eyes fill with greed they tend to blur ones' vision when it comes to the T&C's.....

Didn't say it was a scam my friend !

I just wanted to warn anyone else that may get the offer ,On the majority of sites free spins on slots are at there max lines and that's what you expect ,The fact there not often shows the casino's true colours and imo should be avoided as its a bit sneaky .

Also guys alot of people on here perhaps aren't veterans of the casino world or know the in's and out's of the business like you do ,

In my case i have had a few minor problems with casinos on the accredited list and there's plenty of casinos i have played that do not feature on it that have been great ,

So obviously its buyer beware but as i mentioned i at no point said this was a SCAM or they are roguish ,Just wanted to let people know that this is what will happen if they take that promo so they know before hand .

I know the advert said 200 free spins but in the Ts and Cs there was no mention that they would be at reduced lines or of exactly what line they would be on ,I'm sure they could have found a 5 line slot to advertise the free spins on .

For my short time on here what i have learned most is now it seems you have to ask live help about every little thing before making a deposit as even reading the terms wont give you the whole story ,

I don't know if its just me but the casino world didn't seem to be like this a few years back ,Not to this degree anyway ,

thanks

Now you're on here stick to ACCREDITED sites - no excuse for not knowing which they are. Yes, you were right to point it out to those who may be unaware. As I said it IS a bit sh!tty but not unusual unfortunately.

Thanks for the warning davos11:thumbsup:

It sucks when casinos fool you like that but we learn from every mistake we do.
Me? I'm learning from others :)

I don't play at casinos I don't know but I know a lot of members here that are trying every new casino they see. Someone probably have to do it so the rest of us will find out if it's a good or a bad one.
I see no wrong with posting a warning like that. If you save one person from going through the same I think it's great.
Also if someone do a search for this casino, this thread will come up and they will at least see that their promotions are bad. If they chose to play anyway then it's up to them.

Yes i know your right and that's the best thing to do but i like to play certain slots mostly Playtech or Netent so that narrows down my list of what is accredited here and then from those few sites there are some i have never won a dime from after many deposits so it doesn't leave me much choice to when it comes to wanting to play.

I only ever do small deposits every so often but it seems that the vast vast majority of sites out there now are just there to either trick , befuddle or manipulate and it never seemed to be that way in past years and it makes me wonder why ,It used to just be avoid RTG but now it seems like you need to avoid everything ( apart from the accredited list ) like the plague .

Is the software more readily available now ,Whats the governments stance on Rogue casino's ?( obviously not in this casinos case but in the case of obvious known rogues ) , Do they just keep reopening with the same software and a different name ?

You'd think in this multi trillion pound industry there would be a bit more policing going on or more consumer rules and protection ,It seems in most industries the government creates the laws to adhere to but it seems with online casinos they make there on laws and rules , obvioulsy with a bit of knowledge and reading up you can dodge the more un-savoury sites out there ,But there are always going to be newbies ,OAP's or ignorant ( i fall into this bracket most of the time ) that will always fall foul of them .

Obviously there is a big difference between misleading and sneaky sites and the ones in the rogue pit ,But how are the rogues allowed to keep operating and making money off the unknowing ? Is it anything to do with being offshore with different laws and jurisdictions to us ?

Sorry for all the questions ,I'm genuinely interested in all the in's and out's of the industry and it sometimes baffles me the type of behaviour these places can get away with ,If it was any other kind of business there would be someone on it ,

thanks

There are few good Playtechs I agree, and they are associated with rogues more than they should be and 96 hr. pending etc. But, there are at least 4 or 5 which pay fast and are reputable and on Netent many more.

There are a few accredited RTG's here. You low opinions may have something to do with lack of winning methinks...

Yes, they do unfortunately, often the same people behind them. You DO have to be careful. The government (if you read the other relevant threads) is trying to have more power over offshore-licensed sites as from 2014 including taxation.

The government knows bugger-all about gaming, so have a QUANGO to regulate it, the UKGC. ECOGRA would be the point of contact but neither of these have been totally convincing based on previous matters.

Partly, but more often than not it's consumer ignorance and the desperate - people who have excluded from reputable sites, and get the urge again and can only go to less well-known sites.

Things take time. We know that governments are reactionary rather than strategic, and as far as government is concerned the industry is relatively new, so things we take for granted in other areas of commerce have yet to evolve - they will eventually.

Thanks so much for all your answers ,You cleared up alot , As usuall with casinos it seems alot of answers just mean more questions and new doors are opened !

As far as the RTG's go , It was never a case of losing ,I'm going back years here but it was like palace of chance , cirrus clubplayer etc i played and although i always got paid in full it did take up to 3 months and me arguing on chat every 3 days or so to get it ,Sending the money in split payments ,taking 15 days to approve docs etc ..

Its a shame as they were probably my most profitable places to play but the stress was not worth it , i did play an accredited RTG from here last week ,It was nice to play some of my old faves again but also a shame to see there were maybe only 4 or 5 new slots in the last 4 or 5 years

Not sure where you're playing RTG Davos, but there have been WAY more new RTG slots in the past 5 years...HEAPS in fact.

Some RTGs don't update as often.

Did you try iNetBet or Club World? All the new games are there.

FWIW, iNetbet approve docs VERY quickly and have no max payout limits i,e. you win $20k they pay it within 24 hours.

yeah maybe i have been at the wrong place , But ill give the some you mentioned a try , The few new ones they did have did seem to suck though , I really don't like the guaranteed bonus thing,I'm sure its purely psychological but i always expect to not get a bonus until its guaranteed haha , And every time but 1 this was the case ,But it was nice to play ronin and enchanted garden again
thanks

The vast majority of complaints and problems seem to involve bonus issues.

If you are going to try iNetbet, as good as and as highly rated as they are, IMO, you should be really careful about accepting bonuses from them.

There have been a lot of threads on here attesting to this, even the Rep. supports posters who advise against taking their bonuses.

yes, inetbet has some bonuses with different rules in each of them and different from other rtg´s

ex:
they have some bonuses valid only on 1 slot
others only on classic slots
others only in Real series video slots
etc...

so if you are planing to take their bonuses, what i recomend is: Read Very Carefully each bonus you get
