Hey guys,
Long time lurker here and I know how much you guys hate it when people post for the first time just to moan but sadly, that's what I'm here to do. I'm UK based and play at lots of Casinos - Virgin, Sky, 365, Ladbrokes and my pet favourite is William Hill where I'm a Platinum VIP.
However, something happened which concerned me. I have to say, when I have big losses, William Hill are generous when it comes to bonuses but when you lose almost £9,000 no bonus can take the sting away and we shouldn't expect it to. So, after apparently running out of bonuses I called up William Hill and asked if they could arrange a cashback offer for that day specifically where I lost the £9,000 and the person I spoke to, based in their Gibraltar offices, assured me that it would be done and that I could claim it the next day (the 29th).
Much to my surprise, I contacted William Hill this evening and spoke to both agents and a Casino Supervisor who had no idea that I called the day previously, couldn't see the notes regarding my phone call - So I provided the name and the time in the hope they can track down the call but so far, I'm having no success. It saddens me really, not because of my losses - I've lost a lot more without cashback before but it just annoys me that I was told about this offer which was a gesture of goodwill would be applied. If I'd have been told no, I'd have just taken my losses and accepted fate.
As I said, generally I find the support at William Hill to be amazing especially for us VIPs but this has astounded me.
Anyway, I'm sorry to have to rant but on a positive note - this forum is amazing, keep it up guys!
