Thanks,
ALL my emails were sent from within the software using the Microgaming supplied "Casino Mail" function under the menu. The first two emails sent this way were received by CS and promptly replied to. This method bypasses the internet email system altogether, and instead uses the server that supports the lobby and casino functions. It would therefore be a failure at this point that meant that from Friday on, emails sent via "Casino Mail" were no longer being forwarded to the support desk. Because of this, I missed out on that day's offer.
I was initially claiming first, and then depositing, and as this failed every time to work, and there was nothing to say this was the correct way to do it, I then tried reversing the order by depositing and THEN claiming. This STILL didn't work, and then my emails that had gotten though before were no longer being received. I sent two, but over 18 hours later nothing had happened. It was then the next day, and CS refused to credit the bonus because I had tried to trouble shoot the system by trying the claim after the deposit. She would not budge on this, and then claimed the system HAD been working properly for the last two days, and had credited the bonuses. She kept talking over me when I tried to point out that the bonuses were NOT credited by the system, but only after I had sent an email to say the system hadn't worked. It was stalemate at the start of a bank holiday weekend, and I knew that the marketing team would not be around till Tuesday, and it seemed from past experience only they had the power to make an exception because of the technical issues.
I believed that one had to meet the qualifying criteria EVERY week, not just on one of the three, hence I uninstalled the casino knowing I hadn't, and it would be too late to redress this even if the problems were fixed the following week, a day early as it happens, as I didn't expect anything to happen on a bank holiday.
There is STILL the issue that the claim button gives no indication of the correct order for making a deposit and claim, and even when you get it back to front, it says "successfully claimed" rather than giving an error indication to the player that would make them think to try it the opposite way around.
Slot Survivor is based on wagering, so it is important that players do not face hours of waiting for the offer of the day to be applied to their account.
In the end, giving up worked in my favour. I got my 400 up to 1000, and then withdrew. Had I been going for scores, I would have carried on playing till I had qualified that week, which may well have used up the 1000 and more.
Since I can only win one weekly prize throughout all three qualifying weeks, it is week 3 that is of greatest interest, the iPad3. For the main event, the home entertainment setup, (big telly, Blu-ray, and sound system) is my target. From memory the top prize, if taken as cash, is halved, it used to be 70% of the value. I would have no-one to take with me, unless my Mum fancied it. My niece ended up with the cruise (from the vouchers) that I won in a previous Slot Survivor, and her now Ex conned me out of the iPad
The last technical issue related to the scoring. You were suposed to be able to use both Red Flush and La Vida to build a single score. This didn't actually work, and even though I managed to get the registration to take via CS, it gave me two separate entries and scores, rather than letting me combine play into one. The one before that wouldn't even register me, kept telling me my own handle was "in use by another player" when I tried to use the "link" registration in La Vida to combine play.
The current event now allocates a generic player name, rather than letting them choose their own. It offers no combination of play, so I have two separate registrations and scores, one in Red Flush, and one in La Vida. In theory, I COULD win TWO prizes instead of the one per player during the qualifying weeks, and TWO in the finals. Other players may also have spotted this, and it seems to go against the "spread the love" ethos demonstrated elsewhere in limiting individual players' ability to monopolise most of the prizes available in such events.
I am now doing very well at the Supercash MPV, and the pool has grown to $7000 with still 4 days left. The top prize could well make it to $4000, the equivalent of the big telly in Slot Survivor. I am now in third, but will probably get bumped down by tomorrow, but I still have ? continues left
OK, I will probably come back to Slot Survivor in week 3 for the iPad, and will post any possible technical issues here that still seem to be outstanding, or that might indicate possible causes.
My £1000 withdrawal was paid TODAY, pretty fast given that it's a bank holiday, so no technical problems here
