I have registered for the current Slot Survivor, but for the third time running it is beset by technical issues that are about to cause me to give up yet again as I did for the last two Slot Survivor events.

I really am fed up with the ineptness displayed by the technical team, which places undue pressure on front line CS who have to repeatedly intervene to correct the issues.

Along with the Slot Survivor, there are daily lobby promotions that are supposed to be claimed by clicking a "claim now" button. So far, I have had every one fail to follow through after having clicked "claim now", despite the status showing "you have sucessfully claimed this promotion". The first two times I had to email CS to fix it manually, which they did, but today my email has gone unanswered and no correction has taken place. This is a deterioration of the situation, and surely technical staff should have been tasked into fixing whatever problem is causing this, rather than leaving front line CS to manually correct the problem each day.

The last two Slot Survivor events were beset by failures in the registration and scoring systems, which is why I gave up in the first week. Less than a week into the current event, I am about ready to throw in the towel a third time rather than face a daily battle with CS because they don't deal with the necessary corrections in a reasonable amount of time given the 24 hour nature of each promotion.

Do you use any addons like NoScript etc?.

No, besides, when I now log in it says "claimed sucessfully", showing that the server now accepts the claim.

It has been made worse now because my emails are being ignored. The first two times I got it fixed within a couple of hours. Unfortunately, this group are beset by technical problems with their claims software. I had the same long term problems with the BelleRock claim system, and in the end I gave up and uninstalled all BelleRock casinos and didn't give them another try for a couple of years. I am now having longer and longer pauses with Red Flush group because they just can't produce a permanent fix.

I use the claim systems in the lobby at other MGS casinos, and none have the same number of problems as with the current Slot Survivor.

The tournament is based on real money play, and each round is over one week. I can't afford to wait so long for CS to fix these problems manually and still stand an equal chance of winning the top prizes.

I now see Royal Vegas has an accumulator MPV with 100 continues, so I do at least have something to do whilst waiting for La Vida CS to reply:p

I give up!

I phoned support, and got the "jobsworth" attitude. They cannot credit the bonus as offered because it wasn't done right. However, when it WAS done right (in the manner she specified), it STILL didn't work. Having received the first two emails, they are claiming not to have received the last two. Bullshit, all 4 were sent via Casino Mail, and this is a direct communication, not at the mercy of the email system. If the first two got through, so did the last two. More likely this mailbox is ignored over the weekend.

I told her that I was giving up and uninstalling the casino because I was not prepared to have this kind of battle every damn day for the next 3 weeks that Slot Survivor runs.

Their loss, I have just won well over 60K, and I was going to REALLY lay into this particular Slot Survivor event to at least win the 55" telly, if not the Sun City holiday.

This is the THIRD time on the trot they have been unable to handle technical issues with one of their big ticket tournaments, and the THIRD time I have given up the fight rather than face a daily battle with front line CS who can't really help, and pass the matter on to a technical team that never give any feedback.

They never used to be this bad when they first came on board, it is a big disappointment. I am even more certain that they have changed hands since I joined, as these problems all began when they had a major "relaunch", fixing things that were not broke to start with, and breaking many of them in the process.

I had to give up because I couldn't qualify and go through to the second week. I know the procedure, Front Line CS can't deviate from the rulebook, even in exceptional circumstances like a technical failure. It was not about the issues themselves, but the need to do daily battle with CS in order to get done what should happen automatically. From my experience with the previous two Slot Survivor events, once technical problems start, it can take almost as long as the competition itself to solve them. Even when solved, another comes along to take it's place.

I decided to cut my losses with too few points to qualify and divert my effort to the Supercash accumulator MPV. This now looks like it might pay off:D I am in 4th (well, I was 6 hours ago) with the top prize over the $1000 mark and accumulating. The second prize in Slot Survivor, the telly, is worth around $4500, and was my realistic target. This MPV requires 505 minutes of play as it is an "endurance" event with 100 continues. It's about 9 hours of solid play.

I DO start each Slot Survivor as it comes along, but withdraw where I find technical issues beginning to hold me back. This means that I WILL be back next time, and if the issues have cleared up, I will go for a decent prize.

How about one with a top prize of a premium USA storm chasing tour, something for someone who is not conveniently packaged as a "couple", which seems to be the general requirement for the usual holiday prizes.

Thanks,

ALL my emails were sent from within the software using the Microgaming supplied "Casino Mail" function under the menu. The first two emails sent this way were received by CS and promptly replied to. This method bypasses the internet email system altogether, and instead uses the server that supports the lobby and casino functions. It would therefore be a failure at this point that meant that from Friday on, emails sent via "Casino Mail" were no longer being forwarded to the support desk. Because of this, I missed out on that day's offer.

I was initially claiming first, and then depositing, and as this failed every time to work, and there was nothing to say this was the correct way to do it, I then tried reversing the order by depositing and THEN claiming. This STILL didn't work, and then my emails that had gotten though before were no longer being received. I sent two, but over 18 hours later nothing had happened. It was then the next day, and CS refused to credit the bonus because I had tried to trouble shoot the system by trying the claim after the deposit. She would not budge on this, and then claimed the system HAD been working properly for the last two days, and had credited the bonuses. She kept talking over me when I tried to point out that the bonuses were NOT credited by the system, but only after I had sent an email to say the system hadn't worked. It was stalemate at the start of a bank holiday weekend, and I knew that the marketing team would not be around till Tuesday, and it seemed from past experience only they had the power to make an exception because of the technical issues.

I believed that one had to meet the qualifying criteria EVERY week, not just on one of the three, hence I uninstalled the casino knowing I hadn't, and it would be too late to redress this even if the problems were fixed the following week, a day early as it happens, as I didn't expect anything to happen on a bank holiday.

There is STILL the issue that the claim button gives no indication of the correct order for making a deposit and claim, and even when you get it back to front, it says "successfully claimed" rather than giving an error indication to the player that would make them think to try it the opposite way around.

Slot Survivor is based on wagering, so it is important that players do not face hours of waiting for the offer of the day to be applied to their account.

In the end, giving up worked in my favour. I got my 400 up to 1000, and then withdrew. Had I been going for scores, I would have carried on playing till I had qualified that week, which may well have used up the 1000 and more.

Since I can only win one weekly prize throughout all three qualifying weeks, it is week 3 that is of greatest interest, the iPad3. For the main event, the home entertainment setup, (big telly, Blu-ray, and sound system) is my target. From memory the top prize, if taken as cash, is halved, it used to be 70% of the value. I would have no-one to take with me, unless my Mum fancied it. My niece ended up with the cruise (from the vouchers) that I won in a previous Slot Survivor, and her now Ex conned me out of the iPad:mad:

The last technical issue related to the scoring. You were suposed to be able to use both Red Flush and La Vida to build a single score. This didn't actually work, and even though I managed to get the registration to take via CS, it gave me two separate entries and scores, rather than letting me combine play into one. The one before that wouldn't even register me, kept telling me my own handle was "in use by another player" when I tried to use the "link" registration in La Vida to combine play.

The current event now allocates a generic player name, rather than letting them choose their own. It offers no combination of play, so I have two separate registrations and scores, one in Red Flush, and one in La Vida. In theory, I COULD win TWO prizes instead of the one per player during the qualifying weeks, and TWO in the finals. Other players may also have spotted this, and it seems to go against the "spread the love" ethos demonstrated elsewhere in limiting individual players' ability to monopolise most of the prizes available in such events.

I am now doing very well at the Supercash MPV, and the pool has grown to $7000 with still 4 days left. The top prize could well make it to $4000, the equivalent of the big telly in Slot Survivor. I am now in third, but will probably get bumped down by tomorrow, but I still have ? continues left:D

OK, I will probably come back to Slot Survivor in week 3 for the iPad, and will post any possible technical issues here that still seem to be outstanding, or that might indicate possible causes.

My £1000 withdrawal was paid TODAY, pretty fast given that it's a bank holiday, so no technical problems here:thumbsup:

Hi VinylWeatherman,

Thank you for the feedback. This is most welcome and will help us with bettering our service to you.

We have an a very efficient team that support this method of contact and will be able to provide you with a response and resolution much faster than via email.

It would be too late, all the Storm Chasing tours for 2013 are almost fully booked. They are also cheaper than the safari, coming in at around £2000 + flights and incidentals.

How about a Camper Van for the top prize? Maybe even a Jag:rolleyes:

The holiday vouchers were a good idea, as they are more flexible than a holiday itself. If I did win the Safari, I would go, but I would have to find a worthy companion who really deserved such a treat. Trouble is, my mother is at an age where travel insurance starts getting tricky, and travelling without suitable insurance would be very unwise.
