Just a word of warning to all...I have had my account locked twice now, despite following the t&c's of their promotions. Apparently I keep breaking the catch-all bonus abuse clause.

The 1st time was, when VP was allowed, I played this regularily & was down overall after a few weeks. I also had a bad spell at BJ, post-bonus, and lost 1,200 euros. At this stage had never heard a peep from them, no complaints. Finally I hit a winning streak & crept up to roughly about break-even overall. Now I heard from them - account locked & in fact was thanked for highlighting flaws in their system, apparently. That day VP & other games were banned.

I was eventually allowed back, and accepted a small bonus - playing Grand Slam, War & Roulette (all allowed) for high stakes at the beginning & end of my session (losing the last 7 games of war to bust out). In the middle, I wagered small stakes to try out the fruities mainly & take a breather.

Now, having avoided all sorts of iffy Casino's mentioned here, and stuck to reputable UK/Malta based ones (am UK-based, so why need to go to Curacao, etc.) - have never ever had any issues regarding my gameplay, usually because I eventually go mental & lose a lot (like the 1,200 euros above) however my gameplay above earned me a 2nd banning, a mere few minutes later - so do not play anything other than flat stakes on the fruities, if you wish to avail yourself of their promos without worry.

In their defence, they offered me a refund & insisted any winnings would have been paid (have always been paid myself previously by them instantly). Just that the bonus abuse clause is more liberally applied here than any other UK-based casino have frequented, IMO. I do accept that you cannot continue to offer unlimited deposit bonuses to 'skilled' players- however it is also important that it does what it says on the tin, if you know what I mean.

This sounds questionable. The described pattern is far from any form of bonus abuse, but what is worrying is their reaction to your winning streak on video poker, where you only clawed back past losses, but they imply you found a "fault" in the system. I play VP a lot, and there is nothing unusual about clawing back 1200 credits from a few lucky hits on 4OK and Straight Flushes in a session. Indeed, on MG - considered to be fair, I have had long streaks in either direction, as well as long spells where my balance has just hovered. Once, I wagered well over 50,000 credits and ended up fairly well ahead without the need to hit a Royal Flush.

It almost looks like anyone who wins gets the locking treatment if they take up the promotional offers. If this is a "UK" outfit, it is the worst I have heard other than the "888.com" sites based in Gibraltar.

To clarify - I think of it, possibly incorrectly, as being almost British - as the live dealer part of it is from the Fitzwilliam Casino in Dublin. These 2 internet casinos are owned & operated by Vuetec S.A. (Costa Rica). This is, however, a subsidiary of VueTec (Guernsey) - so it is basically, in fact, British (Isles).

Apparently I have again found another loophole...so looking forward, out of morbid curiosity - as to how they close this one. Presumably max. stakes of 10 euros, or something, will be installed into the gameplay, for what allowed games remain. I'm really not bothered how this all resolves though - as I don't play at casinos, where 30 mins after I finish a session, I get an email starting 'here's the deal' and ending 'account RE-LOCKED'....bit creepy & 1984 that. Couldn't care less what enticements am offered, apart from the current raffle prize of a trip to Dublin they're advertising, maybe.

As for 888, the fact that you can only play in $usd says it all really, as to their British/European credentials. Why they've invested so heavily in marketing & sponsorship here, when they haven't even been bothered to allow play in £'s, costing us a fortune in exchange conversion - is to me, one of the biggest casino mysteries of all. As it is, I have a $usd neteller account, so not bothered - but am very much in the British public minority, in having that deposit method.

Are these "loopholes" just defined as where you win with a bonus, or have you found a non-random element in the software?
The typical loophole of placing the big single bet with everything to start with does not seem to be the case, you seem to be getting lucky purely by playing aggresively and getting the right run of luck. There really should not be an issue with paying players who are simply lucky, for if they keep it up they are just as likely to lose everything with a few aggressive bets.

The fact they are really based in Costa Rica makes it a dangerous place to pay as they seem to be doing their best to avoid paying out winners.

Dublinbet operates out of Ireland - though the company may be based in CR, they will not be taking any risks to catch the attention of Irish authorities so I would suggest finding out on what basis they are closing your account, though they obviously have the right to do so provided they pay out any pending funds.

Are you sure 1spin is the same as DublinBet? I've got DublinBet's number if you need it. I know that Vuetec offers software for live gambling. It very well could be that 1spin is operating under a different team with different rules... payment options etc..They may not be the same people.

It's been awhile since these probs actually. I got un re-locked again & haven't had any probs, the half dozen or so times I've redeposited. I wouldn't overly worry about playing here - in fact I'd heartily recommend it for a difft. gaming experience - just that I caught the ire of someone once & I got all upset.
